Holden nodded, moving over to the man in question and slipping a hand around his waist. “Yes. Lexi, Soren, and the one you haven’t met yet, Betta, are triplets. Shane is their uncle.” She then glared at the young woman. “You are still too young to consummate your mating, young lady.”

Shane snorted. “You say that to a lycanthrope, love? Are you crazy?”

We all grinned. Lycanthropes were physical at all times and sex was natural for them. If they had found their fated mates by the time they reached maturity at sixteen, no one could keep them apart. Some would even be married by the human age of eighteen. Lexi now was twenty, almost twenty-one.

Vasteria interjected, “So many threes. Three sets of triplets.”

I realized one more thing. “And with each of us, one of them is—unique? Different?” I searched for the word I wanted. "Even with the munchkins, who are still growing and changing."

Lily peered up at me and added, “That is true. With us, Lark and I are somewhat normal, but Konner is—well, not dead, but not alive in the same way we are.” Konner nodded, letting her speak. “And with the others, Lexi and Soren are here, but Betta is off running through the universes with her Peace Guardian mate, who is a demon.”

Holden sighed. "And we are learning new things about my girls every day. Right now, I wouldn't say any of them are normal!"

We all grinned at that, watching the two girls play with Renth.

Tamerin stated, “Two suns, one moon. Twice.”

Belesh and Shalen tensed, both peering over at their brother.

Shalen spoke first. “It’s time?”

Tamerin shrugged and then bobbed his head once.

Now it was Holden and Maggie who exchanged looks.

Maggie whispered, “Time for what?”

Tamerin sighed. “For the prophecy to begin. I should give you some inkling of what it is, but to know too much would change it. Still, there is the Korchamen, which will provide the Oracle with hints.”

Konner interjected. “That was one thing Tellus had warned me about. She only called people to her when it was necessary and only told or taught them enough to help them figure out their crap. No more. No less. She couldn't do the work for them.”

Tamerin nodded. “Wise woman. Is she here?”

James shook his head. “No. Tellus was an Earth dragon who had watched over this planet for close to a thousand years. She went to her final sleep a few years ago. Her body remains somewhere here on the planet, but she will not wake again.”

All three of the Universa bowed their heads again.

“We are sorry one so worthy is now gone from all the universes.” Belesh’s tone was solemn as she lifted her head.

She glanced over at each of the dragons, her eyes lingering on Maggie for a moment longer before moving to Konner. “This house needs to be healed, Angel. Perhaps you and the wolf-witch, with the help of the lecanifer, can do so?”

What?

Ravenal twisted her lips. “It won’t let me into its heart, but I am sure you three know where that is.”

Lark nodded, “I do. Lily and I can get up into the attic, but Konner couldn't appear in his physical form there, the last time we went. Something kept him from transporting more than his spirit. We can see if Soren can come with us, but Renth?” He peered down at the lecanifer, his face looking doubtful.

I walked over to the dividers to the office, picking up a book and slipping it into my back pocket before walking to the steps. “Try or try not; there is no other choice.”

Lily snorted, following me. “That is not quite how it goes, young Jedi.”

“Close enough.”

Lark shook his head, leading us up the stairs. “Lily, we are going to have to do all the movies with this one, so he gets his quotes right.”

Lily skipped by me, heading up after her brother. I eyed her body as she climbed up, liking what I saw. Renth bumped me with his head before shoving me out of the way to follow behind her.

Leave it for another time. We have work to do.
