“Nope,” I reply, popping the P. “I don’t think any of us is ready to fly across the ocean. If we were we wouldn’t have driven across the country to move here.”
“Next on the list is a popular popstar. Her producer thinks she’s worth more dead than alive.”
“That has some potential. What about the last one?” I bite my lip, excitement growing with planning the next kill.
“Cartel wants to take out some cook making competition product.”
“Really?” I scrunch my nose.
“Your brother is involved,” Cole adds, explaining why he included it on the list.
“Oh.” I lean forward, studying the list on the tablet. After a moment, I point at the screen. “Let’s do that one.”
“Perfect choice, Luv.” Cole leans over and smacks a kiss on my cheek.
“I can’t wait to live the rest of our lives together,” I sigh with complete and utter contentment.
My phone buzzes on the table where I left it, and I pick it up.
