She wasn’t worried about that exactly.

“If they do, I’ll kill them,” Loki promised.

She patted his arm even though she knew he didn’t mean it.

Well . . . maybe he did.

Remy moved forward and drew out her chair, staring around at everyone.

Even Kiesha was lost for words, her mouth open as she gaped at them.

Loki helped her sit. “I’m gonna order some food for you, okay? You’ll eat it.”

A blush worked its way up her cheeks but she nodded.

“And I’ll be just here.” Remy nodded over to where he usually stood. “Remember what we talked about.” Remy looked at them both.

Right. Which was mostly about her safety. If she needed to go to the restroom, she was to tell Remy first. If a fight broke out, then she was to go straight to him.

But he’d also talked to Loki about not getting into a fight.

They both stood and started moving away after each kissing her.

Kiesha turned to her. “Isabelle Ashley, you’ve got some explaining to do!”

* * *

Ten minutes later, they were still staring at her again after she’d gone through everything that had happened.

Thankfully, there was still fifteen minutes before the quiz started. Although she kind of wished it was starting now so she could avoid all these questions.

“That. Is. So Cool!” Kiesha cried, leaning across the table to hug her.

Georgie smiled at her. “You’re happy?”

“Happier than I’ve ever been in my life.”

“Then I’m happy for you,” Georgie told her.

Juliet nodded and leaned in to cuddle her briefly. That was big from Juliet.

Isa snuck a look at Cleo. She knew she’d be the hardest to convince. Cleo was staring over at Loki. “I always wondered if the two of you would ever admit to how you felt about each other.”

“You knew?” she asked.

“Oh yeah. I saw the way you stared at each other. He’s a surprise.” She pointed over at Remy who stared back at them steadily. She felt bad that he was alone, but she didn’t know how to fix that.

Did he want to sit at the Daddy table, as Loki liked to call it?

“Loki’s Warriors are gonna win tonight!” someone roared.

She had to grin as she glanced over and saw Loki smiling. Although it made her feel even more sad for Remy.

“He’s a good surprise,” Isa said.

Cleo snorted. “That remains to be seen.”

“He is,” she said firmly. “I know that no one knows him that well and he seems standoffish but he’s good to me and Loki, and I won’t have anyone treating him badly.”
