“W-what? Uncle Evan, please leave, I need to get dressed.”

“No,” he states, matter of factly. “I don’t think I will. Now, my gift? I’d like you get rid of that god awful red. Preferably tonight.”

“I - what? No. I’m keeping the red. Now please get out.”

Chuckling, he pushes up off the bed, and walks toward me. Sucking in a breath, I take several steps back, but my back hits my bureau and there’s nowhere else I can go. With a sadistic smile on his face, he backhands me so hard, so fast, I have to grip the bureau to keep from hitting the ground.

A whimper escapes me and as I turn in attempts to run, he grips my face with one hand in a punishing hold. The tips of his fingers and thumb digging into my cheeks, squeezing them together.

Jerking my head to the side with force, he leans in and runs his nose against the column of my neck, inhaling audibly. Petrified with fear, I can’t seem to move. I can’t seem to fight back. I’d question why he’s doing this, but I already know the answers. I already know them all, and with Travis gone, there’s no way I can escape my fate.

Sucking his teeth, he pulls his face back and his eyes examine my face with a look of satisfaction. Smirking, he drags the petals of the rose down my arm, and I shake.

“I didn’t ask you Spencer, and mark my words, I won’t tell you again. I expect the red to be gone by morning.” Squeezing my cheeks tighter, he tilts his head to the side. “Do you understand little doll?”

Sniffling, I nod my head.

“Good. And one more thing,” he muses. “You were supposed to be pure when I took you. I know you’re not, so I’m going to need to fix that.”

I have no idea what his words mean, and I’m terrified to find out. My cheeks hurt, and the tears that spill over my eyelids, sting the raw flesh left behind from his backhanded slap. With his opposite hand, he drops the rose, swats my hands to the side and rips my towel off.

Wasting no time, he runs his free hand down my chest. His touch trails across my body leaving me violated, disgusted, and even once his hand leaves my skin, I can still feel him everywhere. Acid claws it’s way up the back of my throat and I choke it back down.

“You, my precious little thing, require a cleansing of sorts.”

Still holding my face, he spins on one heel, flinging me to the side, and shoves me down to my bed by my face. Scrambling to the headboard, I curl up, pulling my knees to my chest, trying to cover myself.

His hand moves to his belt, and the clanging of the metal is so loud, I can hear it over the grinding of my molars. Whipping the belt from his slacks, he steps forward, leans down and grabs my foot. Kicking with my other leg, I try to pull away, but he’s so much stronger than I am. Quickly, he slides me down the bed and flips me over to my stomach.

“I’m your god now little doll. So beg me for my forgiveness,” he barks.

Pressing my face to the mattress, I try not to cry. I squeeze my eyes closed and try to wish myself away from this hell.

“I said beg!” he shouts at the same time that I feel the crack of the leather against my back.

A muffled scream leaves my lips and there’s no holding back the tears. But I won’t do it. I won’t beg him for anything.

“Now!”

Crack.

Shaking my head, I sob into the mattress.

Crack.

Crack.

I won’t do it.

“I know your little savior is gone, precious. Now you can make it easy on yourself or make it hard,” his voice is soothing this time and he runs his hands gently over the lashes on my back. “I will love you, and adore you my sweet, sweet girl. You just have to ask me to.”

I don’t move a muscle.

Crack.

This time I can feel the searing pain as my skin splits open.

“I can do this all night,” his sing song voice echoes through my room, and I don’t know how much more of this I can take. He’s right. My savior is gone. There’s no escape from this hell. I can’t run. Where would I run to? I know what this is, I know the world that has taken over my life, and if she couldn’t escape, how could I possibly escape?
