Akio let out aburst of laughter.

Arata looked ather and asked, How did you know?

She signed,Read tattoos.

He glanced downat the markings that had come to him with the rest of hisactivation. How do you recognize it?

Akio said, “Sheknows he’s the king. He asked how, and she said she could read histattoos. He asked how she recognized them, and she said she musthave seen them before.”

The woman said,“We were comparing what we did in our spare time. I joined anafter-work organization, and she got married. Oh, shit. We need totell Aunt Bex.”

Sariah smiled.“I will. You get some rest and get stronger.”

Sariah smiled.“I can do that for you.”

“No, you reallycan’t. You don’t have clearance, and if I don’t call in, they willput out a search party for me. I am not expendable.”

Akio chuckled.“I dare them to find you. Ekovar isn’t visible on any detectingdevices.”
