Mason nodded.“Me too.Let’s go.”

We jumped into our truck and sped off home. We’d shift and run through the forest, and tonight we’d explain to our parents what we’d done.

Not only had we found a witch powerful enough to at least try and help them, but my brother and I had found our mate.

It was just a pity she didn’t seem to know it yet.

ChapterSeven

TANIA

Ipressed my back against the office door and slid to the floor in a pile of female weakness.Thank God I’d managed to hold it together until the wolf shifters left.

I wanted them. Both of them.My belly was tight, my pussy throbbing with need.

Seriously. What the hell was wrong with me?I’d never desired men on sight before, and certainly not two gorgeous brothers who wouldn’t want anything to do with a woman like me.

They’d want what every man wanted.Someone like my mother.Petite.Blonde.Dainty.Beautiful.

The fact that they’d even remotely tried to defend themselves when I heard them laughing about how big my ass was, lessened the insult a little. And even though Leo didn’tseemto be lying when he said I was beautiful, I didn’t believe him.

They needed something from me, and they were the type of guys who would do anything to get it.

Like they’d said.Literally anything was on the table.Money.Property.Probably even a night or two in their bed.

I shivered at the very idea of what those men would be able to do between the sheets.I’d never had a good lover before.Sure, I’d dated and had a boyfriend or two, but the fireworks people spoke about?I’d never experienced them.

BOB was the only thing that had ever induced an orgasm in me.My battery-operated boyfriend. He was the best.He never failed me.

But I was pretty sure those wolf shifters could easily change my mind about what constituted a good lover.

I hauled myself up from the floor and forced myself to pick up the spell book and climb the stairs once more to my apartment.Once I got there, I sat on my couch and went through the incantation once more.

It was a difficult spell. There was no getting around that fact. And I honestly wouldn’t have even attempted it a few weeks ago.But if I trained hard for a few weeks, and boosted my magic, there was a possibility I could do it.

When they’d asked me to help them, I’d been so flattered, I could barely talk right.Or maybe that had been the animal magnetism I’d suffered under.

I’d never spent any time with wolf shifters, and only dated humans or warlocks. It had never even crossed my mind to try to meet other types of supernaturals.

I sighed as I placed the book down, and lay down on the couch.

Damn, those men were beautiful.

There was no way they’d ever go for a woman like me, so I needed to stay strong, and make sure they didn’t see how I felt.I was actually proud of the way I’d dealt with them.Coolly.Professionally.

I’d had to deal with a lot of good-looking men before, of course.I owned a gym after all.But I’d never been so attracted to any man before, let alone two at once. And brothers!

“Oh, my mother would die if she knew.”

And almost as if I’d conjured her, I heard my mother’s voice call out.“Darling? Are you up there?”

I sighed and pushed up from the couch. My parents were in my office, directly below me.“Yeah, I’m upstairs.Come on up.”

Heavy footsteps sounded on the spiral staircase as Dad stomped up and Mom flew.“Tania!”Mom cried, launching herself at me.

I caught her and laughed, hugging her tight.“Did you guys pick up the keys to the new place?”

Dad held them up, the old-fashioned silver keys dangling from his big fingers.“Yep.Picked them up today.”
