TANIA

~One month later~

My arms were sore, the training Dad and George had been pushing me through insane. But I was stronger than ever, and thanks to the workouts I’d been doing, so was my magic.

“Why are you still here?”Jaydy asked, rushing up to me as I put the last of my weights back on the racks.

I grinned at her as I wiped the sweat from my brow.“I’ve still got heaps of time.”

Jaydy put her hands on her hips and glared at me.“It’s eight a.m.You’re meant to be getting your hair and makeup done for the ceremony.”

I rolled my eyes at her.We were both witches. She knew I didn’t need more than a minute to get ready.“I’m going to have a shower and get dressed.”

“Nope,” Jaydy said with a wicked grin.“Sorry.Your mom made me do it.”

“Wha—”

Jaydy clicked her fingers and her magic threw me several blocks sideways.I was suddenly sitting on a chair in my mother’s massive main bathroom.

I looked up and there was my wedding dress, hanging over the shower rail.“Mom.”

Mom came rushing into the room, holding two different bunches of flowers.“Red roses or the wild flowers?”

Both bouquets were gorgeous but my gaze tugged toward the beautiful arrangement of purple and orange wild flowers.

Mom, as always, read my response without me even speaking.“You’re right!I’ll change the decorations around the house to match the purple.I knew you’d like those.”

Then she ran off in a flurry.

I sighed, then laughed, turning to the bathroom mirror.Behind me I saw a beautiful older woman walk into the room, her hair curled and piled on top of her head.“Hey, Angie.”

My mother’s best friend.

“Hello beautiful,” she said, lifting her magic wand—a relic from another time.“Shall we start with your hair?”

I laughed.“Let me have a shower… a real shower please.I just finished training.Then I’m all yours.”

“Training?”Angie repeated, shaking her head.“I’ll never understand your fascination with exercise.”

I stood up and gently pushed the witch out of the bathroom.“Ten minutes, Angie. Then I promise, you can curl and fluff and powder me as much as you want.”

Her grin scared me a little but I shut the door and chuckled anyway. My mother had a gaggle of interesting friends, who’d all come out of the woodwork since they found out I’d battled an ancient, and won.

And because of my new alliance, no-one had dared to say a negative word about the fact I was marrying two wolf shifters. Not even my dad.In fact, he seemed to kinda love my guys. They were the sons he’d never had.

I scrubbed myself clean in the shower and even washed my hair, then I slipped into a fluffy white shower robe and walked out into the bedroom.“Okay Angie.I’m ready.”

My mom and her witchy best friend came running at me and I was swallowed up by a storm of flowers and makeup and lace.A hilarious and amazing start to the best day of my life.

I would soon be the official mate and wife to my two men, and our life together would ‘officially’ begin.

Jaydy

I watchedmy best friend walk down the aisle in a stunning but simple white dress, a bouquet of stunning orange and purple flowers clutched in her hand, and tried hard not to let the tears of happiness for my friend fall.

I was so pleased for Tania. She deserved to be treated well.
