Tony doesn’t back down like a beta or omega would, instead he barks right back at me. “What do you call it when someone gets fucked for cash?” His voice thick with disgust. “Isn’t that what my daughter is doing? “Yeah, her pack,” he snarls. “That’s why I’m calling. Not only did you break your word but now she knows you’re scent matches. But I find out from my omega that she has bonded with a bunch of fucking strays? You two go there and can’t even alpha correctly? You let her bond with some freaks!”
“They’re not freaks,” I growl. “We’ve met them and they happen to care about your daughter a lot. They love her. In fact, they were very hesitant to even let us around her even after knowing we’re her scent match. The beta is quite a character as well and keeps everyone in line.” I defend her pack because no matter how things are with us figuring out where we all fit, they’re still my omega’s pack. I won’t let anyone talk down on her pack; that’s a reflection of her.

“So even though you’re her proper mates you’re going to let her mess around and play pack with them?”
“Tony, she bonded them. What do you want us to do? We didn’t sit back and do nothing. There was a lengthy discussion between us and Willow. In the end, we did what made her happy. What makes us all happy. That should be enough for you.” I don’t have any kids obviously, maybe someday now that we have an omega, but I know one thing for sure. If I had a child, I wouldn’t be treating them like this or acting like Tony is. As long as they’re happy and safe, who cares who they’re with?
“Give me the phone,” Dane growls.
I shake my head and mouth no to him. Because he will not handle this in a friendly manner at all. Regardless of how much of an ass Tony is being, he was a good friend to us once and he is still our omega’s dad and we’ll have to be around him. I’d rather not have things always be so tense and hostile between us.
“Give it to me, Chandler. Or next time we’re fucking that sweet little omega of ours, I’ll put your cock in timeout while I fuck her alone,” Dane growls in warning.

I hand him the phone but put it on speaker so I can hear what Tony says. “Tony. It's Dane now. Listen. You’re being a dick. I’m honestly shocked that we were friends for so long if this is what you think of us and your daughter. What happened to you?”
“You happened. You’re fucking everything up,” he spits, and the way his tone is, I imagine him on the other line foaming from the mouth with blood-red eyes like a feral raccoon that needs to be put down.
“Well, as long as we are fucking everything up. I’ll just tell you now. Not only have we not stayed away from Willow but we helped her through her heat when she came home to see Wesley. I marked her.”
“You fuck–”
“Be quiet. I’m not finished,” Dane snaps. “Then after we came here and won her over, we invited her over and well, Chandler marked her. So you see, we marked her along with Ledger, Nash, and Aubrey. We’re a pack. Take it or leave it, Tony. She’s happy. We’re happy. Leave her alone.”
“I won’t stand for this. She can’t be bonded to you two and the others,” he roars.
“Well, she is. Tell me, Tony, does your pack know you’re making this phone call? Or should I call and tell them?”
“You leave them the fuck out of it. This is between you and me. If you two won’t see reason, then I’ll talk to my daughter myself. Being pack with two men old enough to be her parents, having sex live on the internet. Someone needs to make her see the error of her ways. Letting her go to that school was my biggest mistake. One that will soon be rectified.”
“Tony, so help me God, if you upset her in any way, I will fucking ruin you. Do you hear me? Leave her alone. Be happy she’s thriving and loved. That should be enough for you.” Dane’s face is red and his neck is splotchy. He’s vibrating with anger and I hope Tony takes his words for what they are, a threat.
Willow’s dad or not. Our friend or not. If he upsets her or fucks with her, we’ll be forced to handle him and that’s not a position I want to be in, but for our omega, I will gladly do it.
Tony is yelling, but Dane hangs up and drops my phone onto my desk.
“I can’t handle another thing out of his mouth. We should drive home and beat the shit out of him for disrespecting our omega and our pack. He doesn’t know the others and from the sounds of things, he doesn’t know his daughter either. If he did, he’d trust her judgment on who she chose to bond with.” He rubs his temples with his index and middle finger as his eyes close.
“I agree. She didn’t even bond us right away and we’re her scent match. That had to be hard on her, the same as it was on us. But she did what was best for her no matter how easy the alternative was. He should recognize that and see how amazing his daughter is,” I reassure my mate so he knows he’s not wrong or out of line.
“He better not call Willow and upset her.”
“Why don’t we give her a heads up so she knows that he’s aware of everything and is not happy?” I suggest, already reaching for my phone so I can call her.
The phone rings a few times before she answers.
“Hi, Alpha,” she says breathily and I swear it’s like she practices and knows just how to get us fired up.
“Willow,” I grit, willing my cock to stay down. I need to talk to her about her dad and I really don’t want to have that conversation with a hard-on.
