I chuckle, placing a kiss on the side of his head. “I love you too, baby.”

The receptionist comes out of the room and takes her seat at her desk, while another woman comes out. “Hi. Come on in.”

We follow Dean Benson into her office and take the seats in front of her desk. “So, gentlemen, how can I help you?”

“Well,” I start. “First, we need a place to live here on the Calling Wood campus.”

Her brows jump. “And why on earth would you need that?”

Chandler clears his throat, shooting me a sharp look before addressing her. “We have just recently bought out the tech company that you're in business with and we plan on running it on-site.”

Her brows furrow in confusion. “What about Brandon and Derrick? You just fired them? They live here, you can’t just ask them to leave their home,” she demands.

“No,” I interject. “We offered them new positions, with better pay and location. They will be doing security in New York now for an actress.”

She nods her head and leans back into her seat. “Alright then,” she sighs. “I guess that's okay then. But can I ask you a question?”

“Sure,” I shrug.

“Why?”

“Why what?” Chandler asks.

“Why did you buy them out, why do you want to live here on campus.” Her lips twitch with amusement. “This doesn’t have anything to do with a pretty brunette omega?”

Chandler’s eyes shoot over to mine, slight panic filling them.

I shift in my seat, I, myself, am also worried. “What if it does?”

She shakes her head. “Dane. I am very much aware of the spectacle you caused the other day at the omega compound.”

“You are?” I grunt.

“I am. As the dean of this school, I know everything that goes on in Calling Wood that could put my students' safety at risk.”

“I can assure you, you have no need to worry about us. That was a lapse in judgment. I don’t want to make excuses, but we just recently found out Willow is our scent match. It took all of us by surprise. It’s all new and emotions are running high.”

“Really? She’s your scent match,” she says in a curious tone. “Huh.”

“What?” Worry spikes up my spine.

“You are aware she has a pack, yes?”

“Yes,” I huff.

“And that they’ve filed as an official pack?”

That has my blood boiling. “No.” My teeth grind in anger. Fucking little shits. Not only have they marked our omega, they’ve gone and made it fucking legal.

“Is that going to be an issue? Because I will not have you making Miss Rath and Pack Monroe uncomfortable. The moment I get wind that you are causing issues, I will ask you to leave.”

“We understand.” Chandler jumps in before I can get a word out. Probably for the best because I’m fucking fuming right now.

“Alright then. Give me a few days to get your housing accommodations together. Welcome to Calling Wood.”

“Thank you so much for giving us this chance. We will not let you down.” Chandler smiles. “You won’t regret it.”

The dean looks to me. “I sure hope not.”
