When we get inside, the guys are sitting on the couch, yelling at each other as they play Nintendo.

“That’s not fair Ledger! Why do you always do that shit?” Nash shouts.

“Not my fault you’re right behind me. I’m playing to win so you get the bananas. Learn how to drive!” Ledger argues.

I swear the two of them are like small children when they play video games. You’d think with being alphas and adults they’d be playing Call of Duty or Skyrim. Nope, these two alpha children are playing MarioKart.

Ledger’s Wario crosses the finish line and he rockets up from the couch, dropping the controller and facing Nash. “In your face, Nash! I believe that’s now ten to eight. So I am the clear champion of tonight’s Monroe 500.”

Nash growls and stands up, getting in Ledger’s face. “I got something to put in your face, Ledge.” He kicks the back of Ledger’s knee causing him to drop to his knees. Nash starts to unbutton his jeans and Ledger is looking up at him, desire blazing in his eyes.

I clear my throat and two sets of eyes lock on me and Willow. “Hope we’re not interrupting whatever,” I wave my fingers between the two of them, “this is.”

Nash blushes but Ledger just stands up with a shit-eating grin on his face. “Did you meet with IT? Can they fix the internet?”

“Yeah, they were in their office, luckily. It’s fixed and we should have no further issues.” I smile, knowing the blowout is only a few questions away.

“Perfect! Do you know how they fixed it? If it happens again and we can do it from here, you two won’t have to trek all the way to the main building again,” Ledger asks and my heart warms at how fucking sweet and naive he is.

“Willow just had to agree to go on a date with the tech guys and they turned it back on just like that.” I shrug.

Oh boy. By the looks on their face, I don’t think that was the right thing to say.

NASH

“I’m sorry, what did you say?” I growl at my very sexy beta girlfriend who’s standing there with a mischievous grin on her sexy lips like she’s up to no fucking good.

“The fuck you mean she agreed to go on a date with the IT guys!” Ledger snaps, his eyes shooting over to Willow. “The fuck you mean you agreed to go on a date with the IT guys? What the hell, Willow?”

Willow blushes and shoots Aubrey a glare. “It’s not what it sounds like,” Willow mutters. “Aubrey is being a cheeky little shit,” she huffs. “You know how we’ve been wondering how Dane and Chandler are able to stay in Calling Wood?”

It clicks as soon as she says it. “Fucking hell. Are you kidding me?” I growl. “They’re the IT guys?” Willow bites her lower lip and nods. I’m pissed, I’m so damn pissed, but the way she bites her lip has my cock twitching.

Not now, Nash, we can fuck our omega later.

“And you agreed to go on a date with them?” Ledger asks slowly.

Willow plops down on the couch with a sigh. “I can’t avoid them anymore. The bottom line is, they’re my scent match, and as hard as all this has been, I… I want to try. I want to see if there's a future with them. I can’t do that if I keep my distance. And at this point, I’m so stressed out, I wouldn’t be surprised if my heat gets suppressed by a few days, maybe even a week.”

All the anger falls away as I look at my omega. I see it now. The tired eyes, the defeated look. “Fuck, baby.” I drop to my knees before her. “We should have been there for you, making sure you were doing alright, and all we’ve been doing is allowing jealousy to get the better of us.” I feel like crap and that I’m failing as her alpha.

“Ah, you mean the two of you,” Aubrey says, perching on the arm of the couch. “I’ve been team silver fox pretty much from the start.”

“Watch it,” Ledger growls. “Or I’ll put you over my fucking knee.”

“Oh no, don’t spank me, Daddy,” Aubrey fake pleads. Willow giggles and that smile does shit to my heart.

“It’s a big adjustment for all of us. I don’t want you to beat yourself up over this, okay? You’ve already been amazing about this whole thing. You're supportive of my choice of career. You were patient until I came around to wanting this to go from a temporary thing to a forever thing. And then you didn’t turn me away when I spent my heat with two other men who turned out to be my scent match. Then you accepted the fact that they could be a part of my future. Our future.”

“It’s because we love you,” I tell her softly, rubbing my hands up and down her thighs, the alpha in me needing to soothe her worry. I hate seeing her upset.

“And I love you.” Her voice breaks a little as her eyes glass over. “All of you.” She looks over at Aubrey and Ledger.

“So a date, huh?” Ledger grumbles as he sits on the coffee table. “When?”

“Tomorrow,” she murmurs.

“Ugh.” I put my head on her knees and close my eyes.
