“They did.” I laugh.

“And, we were hoping to see if you, Nash, and Ledger would like to hang out sometime and get to know one another better. If we’re going to be a big part of each other’s life, I think we owe that to Willow, for us to get along.”

“I agree.” Aubrey nods. “And I have just the thing where we can do some… bonding.”

My brows rise at the look of pure mischief on her face. Oh boy. Whatever she has planned, it’s going to be interesting.

“Looking forward to it,” Dane grumbles.

“Well, goodnight,” I say softly, not sure how to end this night.

They both look like they want to kiss me and both swoop in at the same time, kissing me on the cheek.

I love it. I love it more than I thought I would. And when their lips leave my cheek, I miss their touch.

“Goodnight, Willow.” Dane’s deep husky voice has my belly warming.

“Goodnight, love.” Chandler smiles.

“Night.”

I watch them walk to their car and drive away.

“You got it bad don’t you?” Aubrey asks.

“Are you mad?” I ask her.

“No, baby. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.”

Letting out a heavy sigh, I grab her hand and drag her into the living room. Where I find Nash and Ledger pouting, pretending to watch TV as if they didn’t know the guys just dropped me off.

“Sit,” I tell her, pointing to the spot between Nash and Ledger.

Her brows raise but she does as I ask.

“Alright, here's the deal,” I tell them, crossing my arms and standing in front of the TV. “I love that you all want to make me happy and will do anything you can to make that happen. But did you know I want you all to be happy too?” I ask them, looking between the three of them. “Everything isn’t all about me. We are all equal partners in this pack. If someone is unhappy, sad, mad, or uncomfortable, we communicate, we talk about it. Because I’ll be damned if we keep things to ourselves in order to keep my feelings untouched and have someone grow to resent me.” I shake my head. “Nope, that’s not how this works. So, if you have something you want to say, something that’s on your mind, we talk. Got it?”

“Fucking hell.” Aubrey chuckles, leaning back into the couch with a glazed look.

“What?” I blink.

“You’re so fucking sexy right now.” She licks her lips, eyes sweeping over my body.

“Thank you?” My cheeks heat as a rush of heat fills me. My eyes find the guys. “I saw you tonight.”

Their faces go pale. “You did?” Nash asks.

“Yes, I did.”

“Are you mad?” Ledger asks, grimacing.

I give them a soft smile. “No. I’m not mad. Did you go there because you didn’t trust me?”

“No,” Nash says strongly. “Of course, we trust you.”

“Was it because you didn't trust them?” I ask, raising a brow.

They look at each other before giving me a nod. “After everything they did, we just wanted to make sure you were safe.”
