Nash stands, bends down, and kisses Willow on the cheek. “I’ll go get you some pizza, man. You keep track of the girls.” He walks away, heading toward the line. This is why we work so well together as a pack. There are no alphaholes or bitch betas. We are a family unit and help each other whenever we can.

I look over at Aubrey; I doubt she’ll notice if anyone left the table since she’s enraptured in her phone. Her red hair falls in front of her face as she types furiously on the screen.

At the thought of her phone, mine begins to ring again, vibrating furiously against my thigh.

“You better see who that is,” Willow whispers.

I kiss her lips softly before shoving my hand in my pocket to pull out my phone. Looking at the screen, I automatically roll my eyes.

“Who was it?”

“My mom,” I grumble.

“Yikes. What did the debutante bitch want this time?” Aubrey asks, not taking her eyes off her phone.

Well, at least she’s still paying attention and knows what’s happening around her.

“I don’t know. But she left a voicemail.”

“Play it,” Willow tells me.

“Blowpop, my parents aren’t like normal parents. They’re raging cunts. I didn’t go on to become some cutthroat attorney. Instead, I came here to CW to get my degree in business, and I work at the movie theater in town so that I don’t have to take their money.”

“So what do you think she wanted?” she asks, her eyes filled with concern.

“Minus attempting to suck the soul out of everything good she touches? Probably nothing,” Aubrey murmurs and I can’t help but snort a laugh.

“Let's find out.” I press play on the screen and my mother’s voice hits my ears.

“Ledger, son. It’s your mother, Patricia. I was hoping to invite you to dinner this weekend. Your brother has found an omega and wants us to meet her before he asks her to be his bond. It’s important that we’re all there. Same as we’ll be there for you when you meet your bond.”

Christ. I roll my eyes at her words. I’ve told her and my dad at least ten times that I’m bonded to Nash and Aubrey.

“Do they not know about Nash and Aubrey?” She asks and I pause the message so I can answer her.

“They do. But choose to act like they don’t since neither is an omega.”

Willows sticks out her bottom lip in a cute pout and I hit the button to finish the message.

“Anyway, this Friday at six PM please dress formally and we’ll send the car. Your father also wants to talk to you about your future so please come with an open mind and leave that riff-raff at the classless university you insist we pay for.”

“Riff-raff?” Aubrey laughs. “She even insults people like a stuck-up bitch.”

“You’re sexy riff-raff,” Willow giggles and then turns back to look at me. “So what should I wear?”

“Nothing.”

“Well, I could, but I don’t think they’d appreciate that if they already think your mates are riff-raff,” Willow jokes as she wraps her arms around my neck.

“I meant nothing because we’re not going.”

“Of course, we’re going! At the very least we’re going so we can show them that even though you didn't do what they wanted, you still found a pack and are happy. At least to throw it in their faces,” Willow growls. Fuck, she makes my cock hard when she gets all feisty like this.

“Evil Omega,” I mumble against her throat.

“Pleeease, I have the perfect dress to wear,” she begs, pouting like a cute little puppy dog.

“Fine,” I sigh, instantly regretting my answer.
