“She wanted to come too? I had a hell of a time convincing Franny to stay in the clubhouse.”

“And now you both see why I go for the easy pussy. No names, just sex and leave,” Brooks teased.

“Call me when the right woman knocks him on his ass,” Tank smirked.

“Will do,” Warren grinned. “We need to get this bitch taken care of so I can get back to my woman.”

Tank ripped the door open. Tanya’s irritated demands were merely a whisper they strained to hear. When the door closed behind them, the outside world faded away.

“Nice job on the soundproofing,” Brooks nodded.

“How do you want to do this?” Warren asked.

“Make sure no one else is involved and take care of disposal,” Tank clipped.

They walked down a set of narrow stairs and through a tunnel that led to a series of rooms. Each room had a chair and a table. The only light was the bulbs dangling down the center of the hallway. The club members were gathered in the last room. A metal cage stretched across the wall. Hooks and anchors dotted the inside of the cell. Chains attached to anchors near the ceiling held the traitors’ arms. Her legs were secured to the metal bars on the floor.

“I see she is enjoying her stay,” Brooks joked.

The men parted, letting them walk closer.

“How do you know Cooper?” Warren barked.

“Was he the blonde or the big guy?”

“Holy fuck,” Brooks whispered. “How has she survived this long without a keeper?”

“She was homeless when she came here. She lives here because she loves to suck a dick like a vacuum all day, every day,” Tank muttered.

“What did Roach offer you for your help?”

Warren drowned out the chatter around him. He didn’t want to get his hands dirty, but it wasn’t out of the question. She wasn’t a woman in his eyes. To him, she was merely a rat that needed to be dealt with. A rat that helped hurt his woman.

“Where is he?” Tanya pouted. “This was not how it was supposed to happen. He said it would be simple. Simple isn’t being locked in here. I was good. I did what he said.”

“What did he say?”

“Ask him yourself,” she smarted.

“Roach is dead,” Tank informed her.

“I shot him for attempting to take my wife.”

“What did Roach promise you if you helped him drug me?”

“Franny and the other one?” Tanya gulped.

“Our ol’ ladies are going to be just fine.”

Warren watched, waiting to see her reaction. He had no intention of bringing Rose into this. This was the only part of his life where his Petal didn’t belong. His wife was too kind-hearted to dole out punishment.

Tanya’s face fell, and her body slumped, using the chains to support her.

“He said you could be Tank’s new old lady,” Warren surmised. “What else?”

“But Tank got sick, so I told him I didn’t want to be stuck taking care of a sick ol’ man.”

“If that’s not true love right there, I don’t know what is,” Brooks muttered.
