“You had your chance to have your memory wiped,” Santee reminded him just as Cormac and the deputy groaned, coming awake in their human forms.

Then a bag appeared on Orion’s bed. Curious, Santee pulled from Beckett’s arms and looked inside. There were clothes in there. When he pulled them out, Beckett took them from Santee and gave them to his brother and the deputy.

“What did I miss?” Cormac asked while he dressed.

“Not much,” Santee answered.

“Where’s the shooters?” the deputy asked as he looked down at his chest and then over at Orion. “Do I have some explaining to do?”

Orion held up his hands as he shook his head. “I’ve had enough revelations for one day. I still think I’m hallucinating all of this.”

With a snarl, Beckett pulled Santee back into his arms. “This is where you belong.”

“I know.” Santee smiled at his mate. “I love you.”

“I love you, too, my sexy little bunny.” Beckett kissed Santee right on the lips, clearly uncaring that there were others in the room.

The kiss lingered, sweet and slow, before Beckett pulled away, a soft smile on his lips. Santee returned the smile, feeling loved and cherished for the first time in his life.

He doubted he would ever talk to his parents again. That hadn’t been love. That had been survival mode. They’d left Santee behind to deal with Marvell’s madness, but Santee now had a different family, one that cared about his safety.

And a mate who cared about Santee’s happiness. He’d been terrified when that snare had closed around him. Now Santee was snared by Beckett’s love.

THE END
