Dante clears his throat and looks to his wife, “Let’s get back into the thick of it. I’m sure everyone has something to do this evening.”

Amara looks around the room and her eyes land on Razor, “What did Alejandro say when the two of you spoke to him?”

Razor’s the first to speak, seemingly relaxed. “He’s going to assist us in getting visas for anyone in the club who needs one, member, ol’ lady, clubwhore, anyone.”

Rosa pipes in, “He wants to help us in whatever ways he can. His words exactly were ‘nothing is too big or too small’.”

Amara takes another sip from her water bottle. “It must mean he has someone on the inside who can expedite them for us.”

Dante waits a moment before speaking, likely wanting to make sure no one else was going to. “I’m certain of it. My father has a lot of influence, but Alejandro’s hands go deeper than most. His family offers the club a lot of influence, and as people see how closely the club is associated to his cartel, and my fathers, they should learn to back off.”

Licking her lips, Amara continues. “Did either of you bring up the issue with Elias?”

I’m sure they did.

If they didn’t, Amara’s likely going to be pissed.

Razor’s the one who answers. “Yes, we told him everything in great detail. He’s going to assist however he can with Elias as well. The last thing he wants is someone in our family to be harmed. Alejandro is making his support known, Amara. He’s glad we’re here.”

Razor pauses and Rosa interjects, “But, he gave us a warning too. He said when people know we have issues with one cartel, other cartels, gangs, or lowlifes will pay close attention to us. It means we’re a threat to them.”

“Which is why others understanding our alliances with the Lopez and Ramirez cartels are important,” I state, clear as day.

Amara nods, “I’m sure there won’t be many issues once people realize we’re not the type to fuck around with.”

I know everyone knows there are people hanging around, but I’ll be the one to bring it up again. “There’s an influx of people hanging around on the street at night. I know not all of them are affiliated with Elias, but we damn well know there are some who are on his payroll.”

Axel nods in agreement, “No doubt.”

“Thank you both for the update, and I’m glad we all have more information.” Amara starts off, pausing for a brief moment. “I didn’t have anything I wanted to discuss with the group of you, but keep doing what you’re doing. I don’t want any women going out alone, not while things are still so dangerous.”

It’s understandable. One thing I will say is I like how protective the club is of their own.

We always want to make sure each other is safe, and that’s good to know you have people behind your back.

No one says anything, so I do. “Understood,”

Amara nods and rises, “Perfect. We have a few things we need to get done, but I’ll see you all tomorrow.”

Dante and Amara leave her office and the rest of us shuffle out.

I’m the last one to leave, so I shut the door and Razor’s waiting for me at the end of the hall.

I lift my chin up at him. “What’s up?”

“Would you mind taking a couple things to the cafe for Oak tomorrow? She’s still not feeling the best, and I’ll be tied up with a call. Rosa and I are video chatting with our other half-sister, Marisole.”

Hell, it’s just another excuse for me to see Astra. “Yeah, I don’t mind.”

Razor claps me on the shoulder, “Thank you. I didn’t want to send a prospect to do it, considering her work is one of a kind.”

I chuckle, “Could you imagine them fuckin’ it up?”

Razor nods, “Oh, I can, and I’m sure they’d find a way to fuck it up.”

It’s been a couple of days since I’ve seen Astra.

The last time she was in the cafe with her friend, Daniela, or at least I think that was her name.
