Tony chuckles in a malicious manner at me. “Ah-ah, you’re not going anywhere.”

The cold steel of the knife presses against my throat, its razor-sharp edge digging deeper into my skin if I attempt to move in the slightest bit.

I can’t help but shudder as Tony presses himself against me.

He rolls his hips against my hips and I gulp hard, his hardness physically making me sick.

He forces us back over to the shop’s doors and grabs my keys out of my pocket.

My heart pounds wildly in my chest as he unlocks the door and shoves it open.

“Get in there,” he snarls, pushing me further into the dimly lit room.

The cats scatter at our presence, their eyes wide and fearful—an unsettling reflection of my own terror.

“Come on, Tony. You’re not an idiot. Don’t do this.” I whisper, trying to keep the fear out of my voice.

“Shut the fuck up!” he snaps, his grip on my arm tightening painfully. “You had your chance to make things right, but you chose to run. Now, it's time for you to pay.”

“Pay?” My mind races, trying to understand what he means. “What do you want from me?”

“You,” He digs the knife deeper into the delicate skin of my neck, drawing blood. “Your submission.”

I gasp, feeling the warm trickle of blood slide down my throat.

The pain is sharp and intense, but it only serves to fuel my desire to live—to get out of this situation.

I won’t let him break me ever again.

I turn my neck and look into his eyes. “You’ll never get it.”

“Wrong answer,” he growls, dragging the blade across my cheek with brutal force.

My vision swims with tears and I bite back a grunt of pain, tasting blood in my mouth.

“Look at you,” he sneers, taking a step back to survey his handiwork. “What a pathetic, weak woman. Did you really think you could escape me? That you could just walk away from our family, from your responsibilities?”

“Y-you’re not my family,” I manage, my voice cracking under the severity of the situation. “And I don’t have any responsibilities that involve you.”

“Is that so?” Tony chuckles darkly, grabbing a nearby chair and forcing me to sit. “Are you forgetting about the life we had together, about the promises we made to each other?”

His fingers wrap around my wrist, squeezing hard enough to make my bones grind together.

I whimper, unable to hold back the pain any longer.

“Any promise you made is bullshit. You didn’t mean any of it, and once I saw that, I knew I had to leave.”

Tony twists my arm so bad I feel like it’s going to break. “Say you’re sorry,”

At this point my anger is surpassing my fear. “No,”

He twists harder and I holler in pain. “Say you’ll come back to me, Astra, that you’ll be loyal again.”

“Never,” I choke out, my vision blurring as agony overtakes me. “I’d rather die than go back to you.”

“Fine,” Tony snarls, releasing my arm with a shove. “Have it your way.”

The knife flashes in the dim light as he brings it down, slicing into my flesh once more.
