Doom growls, stepping forward with a menacing glare. “That’s where you’re wrong, buddy.”

In this moment, I see my chance—a split second of opportunity to save Astra from this nightmare.

As Tony’s attention shifts to Doom, I lunge for him, grabbing his wrist and twisting it viciously.

The knife clatters to the floor, and Tony howls in pain.

“You’re never going to lay a hand on her again,” I hiss, my face inches from his. “This is the end of the road for you.”

Blood sticks on the floor below Astra’s table, a sickening reminder of the pain Tony put her through.

My body trembles with rage as I stare into Tony’s eyes, seeing the twisted satisfaction he takes in her suffering.

“This is the last time you’ll ever see her.” I grit, my tone low and dangerous.

I grab him by the throat and put him in a chokehold.

Out of the corner of my eye, Zorro heads over to Astra and begins untying her.

Doom comes over to me and pulls his gun on Tony, pressing it against his temple. “Go to your woman,”

Tony cackles, “She’s not his woman.”

Doom doesn’t waste a moment before he pistol whips Tony so hard he loses his footing.

I move quickly to Astra’s side and I grab her hand. “Baby girl, hey, you’re safe. We’ve got you.”

She moves her head slightly as Zorro cuts the last rope around her ankles. “Manuel,” she cries out and my heart breaks for her.

Tears run down her cheeks and she holds onto my hand tightly.

“I’m gonna take care of him for you.” I stare deeply into her eyes. “Are you okay?”

Astra inhales sharply through her nose, “Yeah, just burning everywhere.”

She turns her face slightly to the right and there’s a deeper cut on her cheek.

This is deeper than the rest and will likely leave one hell of a scar.

Zorro turns and looks at me, “Python, go deal with him. I got her.”

I charge up to Tony and pull out my gun, keeping it right up against his temple. “Go back to the club and get the van.”

Doom gives me a nod and within a few moments I hear his bike start up from outside.

“You think you’re so tough, so high and mighty?” Tony taunts, but he can’t fool me.

I see the flicker of fear behind his eyes.

I’m glad he’s afraid. But, he has no idea what’s coming for him.

I can guarantee he’s going to suffer in the greatest of ways.

Tony glares at me, “You might think you’ve won, but you haven’t.”

Fuck this.

My fist connects with his jaw, the impact reverberating through my arm.
