Draven and Tony stepped out from the front door holding a welcome basket. Costas gave my hand one last squeeze before opening his door. "Home. We're home, Millie."

Turning my eyes into saucers, I finally caught on that this hadn't been just a visit to someone else. They had been secretly buying a place that would allow me to come visit in my own space, and they picked a location that would be closer to my dad. Costas left me alone before coming to open my door. I usually got out before he could open it, but he beat me to it because I'd been shocked.

Getting out, I let him guide me to the others. Draven pulled me in by the waist, kissing me passionately in front of the other two before letting Tony do the same. I enjoyed this part immensely because my body came alive every time one of them touched me so thoughtfully. Stepping out of their embrace, I pointed to the home. "What's this about? I thought we were just staying a little longer."

"Well, some things have changed." Draven had this infectious smile. "You see, I'm no longer a wanted man."

"What?" I gasped. Rearing back a little, I had to let my gaze swing between them all. "How is that possible?"

"Well, after your dad revealed his hidden powers, we learned a few tricks from some of his men and got our hands in some deeper pockets," Tony answered.

"My dad? My dad who raised me to never break the law?" The disbelief present in my features.

"That very one." Tony guided me into the luxurious home. The entry had cool grays throughout, and the floors were nearly black as the crowning and baseboards were white. "With the help of Costas's technical support, we were able to discredit the authenticity of the video. We might've made it look like someone faked Draven's image by replacing him with the true killer."

"But he'd been caught at the scene of the crime!" It couldn't be this easy to get him off.

"Ah, someone drugged me and staged my body with his blood. The blood test they took from me that day just proved it. I'd just woken up, so they thought I stood over the body. They found proof of this plan hidden in Alexander's home. It was a very detailed account about how to frame me for the crime, but Alexander had a traitor who delivered the facts to the police. After paying a hefty fine for my escape, the judge has chosen to overlook my absence."

Draven felt proud. I felt... excited? With this news, we could go anywhere. "We can stay here..."

"That's why we bought you a house, Sunshine." Draven waited to see if I'd be okay with it.

"Oh, and we bought Kasey her own place as well. She's moving in there as we speak." Tony handed me a key. "She'll never want for anything now that she's under our protection."

Tearing up, I had to blink away the emotions that wouldn't stop bubbling up. "You truly are the best men I've ever known."

"And we'll keep trying to be that for you." Costas whispered from behind me.

"Now, we have one more surprise to complete this place." Draven couldn't wait as he dragged me up the grand set of stairs. They forget my little apartment could fit in the foyer of this place. Passing Costas's mother, she waved before opening a door to a room I'd assumed they gave her to stick around. She was on the phone with her other son, reassuring him of her safety.

Coming to a stop, Draven opened the door for me to see shelves being created as a petite female began lining the finished ones with books. Astrid turned around after dishing out some orders to the crew who worked to build me a library. Beaming, she nearly ran to me in order to hug me to death. "You're okay."

"And so are you," I breathed out in relief.

She let me go to take in what she'd been creating. "Tony paid me a visit a few days ago and asked if I'd help build you a library. Like I'm going to turn down that task when I know exactly what you like."

Pointing to the far end, I saw a book shelter being built. She used those to host the older collections with the right lighting and temperature to keep their condition intact. "What's going in there?"

"Oh, you know, the collection you can never stop touching when you visit my place." Knowing she referenced the William Shakespeare works, my jaw fell. They were too expensive. "And before you bitch about the price, these three gave me an endless supply of money to make sure you get what you want. They're even paying me for the interior design of the place."

Leaving me to thank them, I couldn't get the words out. So many emotions ran through me. Every time I opened my mouth, words wouldn't form. Together, the three of them pulled me into their grasp. Draven spoke for the group as I smelled all their intoxicating scents at once. "We love you too, Sunshine."

Epilogue

Millie

One week later…

Sitting outside her home, I let my gaze swing up to the penthouse Kasey now lived in. She had all the furnishings of a queen, thanks to my men keeping her safe after losing so much with Rocco. Their love had been short lived, but I could see how real it'd been for my friend who never believed in it to begin with. Her heart finally let someone in, but he'd been lost before they could combat the world together.

Sighing, I didn't know if she'd let me in or not, but I needed to see her. Astrid unbuckled her seatbelt beside me, being fully caught up on the things we went through. Something had been different with her since our departure, but she wouldn't speak about it. I had a feeling it involved a guy too, but I wouldn't pester her into telling me. Her secrets were her own, but I'd just remind her I was here. Which became our plan with Kasey right now.

"Are we ready?" she asked beside me, knowing how reclusive Kasey had become. My once outgoing friend hadn't been leaving her home or doing anything the former version of her liked to do. Reaching for the bottle of wine in the backseat and cheese tray, I nodded my head.

"As ready as I'll ever be." My heart hurt. With my best friend down, she needed our comfort in any form she'd let us provide, but it came at the expense of not being able to fix her right away. Like my own trauma from recent events, there would never be a cure-all for it. Only time and dedicating our mind to positive things would help push past the pain and grief.

Walking up the few steps to the entrance, Costas outdid himself when picking this place for Kasey. The location was prime real-estate. She sat in the center of the city, but closer to the end I lived on in my own new home with the guys. She had an elevator very few had a key for to gain access to her floor. Digging out my key, the door attendant would know who I was because he worked for Tony as an extra detail to make sure Kasey stayed safe.
