"You can kiss my ass, you little shit! You deserve everything coming your way!" he shouted like he won. I waited for my guy to finish unhooking the power to the door. It would stay sealed without someone plugging the right cords back into the right spot.

"Sadly, I won't be able to. It seems power to your vault has been disconnected. Though, I'm sure one of your men would love to take a bite out of what might keep them alive long enough for someone to fix this technical issue."

Silence met me as the other side began shouting in rushed tones to get the door open. If only they knew the best worked for me and not the other way around. Smirking, I waited for the filthy rat to give me the information I wanted. "Who has been feeding you my information?"

"You're trying to blackmail me, De Luca? You want me to give my source of information over to you?" I could hear him spit at me.

"Only for a kinder death. You messed with my family, you fool. You're only option is to starve in there or die faster out here." I grinned. "My sister's rape will not go unanswered for."

"I was paid to leak the video if Lester died. I didn't know what was on it."

"Bullshit," I snapped, wanting to kill the fucker in his tracks.

He cackled on his end like he knew there was no point in lying. "You're right. I've watched it a dozen times, allowing my whores to blow me in the process of watching her delicious screams. What a beautiful little body to watch break."

Shaking my head, Tony placed his hand on my shoulder to stop the bull inside of me from charging. Stepping back, he moved in. "I think your cowardly ass might favor a quick death."

"I think you better watch who sits at the table, boy. It ain't you, and it's barely the man next to you. Maybe you'll think on that a little more when your own loyalty is divided." Gustav seethed. Right after, we heard several guns go off, telling us Gustav had a brain after all.

"Unlock the door. We need to make sure he's dead and not pretending to be." I spat in spite. The tech got to it and didn't waste any time. Hooking his phone up to the mainframe after plugging it back in, he gained access within minutes. When the door opened, Gustav began to fire at us with his men. Just like I thought.

Ducking, I had my gun ready, taking them out one by one before leaving only the man I sought out. Gustav thought he'd won, but I planned better. Closing him in alone, I had my men remove all the other bodies, leaving him with one gun and bullet. I listened to him scream his anger at me, cussing my name on his lips. With the door blocked again, I waved my men to leave the room.

"Antonio and I will guard the door for a while. We'll see how kind Gustav feels in the morning after having all night to think about his problems and options. You go raid this place and turn it upside down for the answers I seek."

"Where the hell are they?" I muttered to myself, roving through the compound trying to see where Millie and Kasey wandered off. I somehow missed them walking by me while I was in the front area doing my paperwork and keeping track of the main area. How in the hell had they gotten around me?

Coming back down the stairs from the right wing where their rooms resided, I kept trying to find them. Luckily, in my hurry through the kitchen, I heard the obnoxious sound of Kasey's laugh. The woman belted it again, drawing my attention to the open door of the wine cellar. No wonder I hadn't seen them. They never went by me because they were under me.

Annoyed, I began my decent down the wrought iron stairs that twirled into the cellar. They made the stairs take up less space to make more room for the wine. Draven's family-owned vineyards here, and Tony had his back in Italy. Between the two businesses, they made a pretty profit, but the women didn't know these were from their own farms.

"Remember when Franklin Boggs sent you a Valentine with his booger?" Millie snorted in the cutest way. It also told me she had been drinking by how it slurred from her supple lips. I bet when I saw her, they'd be a darker shade because of her alcohol consumption.

"Oh, hell," Kasey groaned. "If you were a booger, I'd pick you first. Be my girlfriend?"

Millie kept cackling and making fun. The two girls shared more memories of their school days, laughing about poor fashion choices and boyfriends who were losers. I stayed back and watched, listening to my coms for the checks my team would be due for soon. They'd update me about the perimeter as I kept an eye on the two women who decided day drinking meant binging bottles of wine and hoarding them in the basement.

"This is nice," Millie sighed.

"It's the alcohol talking," Kasey giggled.

"Why don't I do this more often? I feel good!"

"Because you had too much on your plate to take a night off... or the next day which you'll need after today."

"Good thing no one will see me until I recover," Millie quipped.

"Sweetie, I'm about to teach you how you don't get a hangover."

I moved closer to see where they sat, but my eyes zoned in on the amount of bottles scattered at their feet. Millie had three by her that were gone, but Kasey had five. Kasey took another gulp as Millie looked at her in confusion. "How?"

"You keep drinking." When Kasey snorted, they fell into each other in their fit of giggles and fun. It was kind of a cute moment to see firsthand. I had a feeling they did things like this often, loving each other's company on the harder days.

"Does alcohol make sex more fun?" Millie asked her friend out of nowhere.
