"You're nothing more than a wandering sperm that developed in a whore," she sneered.

I didn't need to hear anything else. Her attacking Costas so often felt too personal for me. It made my skin itch. Clearing my throat, she gasped when she saw me glaring at her. "Do you often compare other women to whores out of jealousy?"

"How dare you?"

"I haven't even gotten to the punchline, Giorgia!" My maniac appearance told her she disrupted me for the last time. "You only behave in such way because you seek what they get. In other words, you're jealous, so you deflect by blaming a whore for every problem in your life."

"Shut your mouth!" she snapped at me, pointing in my direction like she wanted me silenced.

"Why? You never do." Setting the kitten down, he finished eating and fell back asleep. Whiskers laid perfectly for me to set him against for more heat. Standing up, I brushed my clothes off. "Again, we're at an impasse. You're demanding respect without giving it in return."

"You foolish girl!" Just when she took a few steps in my direction, Antonio entered the room with Draven.

"Mother?" he questioned her angered state. "Would you like to explain what's going on, or do I need to rely on the other ears in the room for better judgment?"

For the first time, I heard him stand his ground against his mom. It felt like a bold move, making me smile. Mrs. Russi didn't say anything, storming out of the room in a huff. Her hair needed to be let out of the tight buns she placed it in. The men faced me, Costas sent me a wink for my bold stance against the woman he couldn't because of his position as an employee of the family. Even though I knew Antonio wouldn't let anything happen to him, I feared his punishment with Mario.

"Well, now that my mother has been dealt with, Emilia, will you be ready to go by eight tonight?"

"Eight?" My mind tried to wrap around what plans we had.

"I have that business meeting you said you'd come with me to?"

Remembering, I counted how many days had gone by since we brought the kittens in after our date. We were on the third one. How had time moved so fast? In reality, I comprehended it never slowed since meeting these two men. "I hadn't realized time went by that fast, but I will be ready, I promise."

"You don't have to come," he tried making me feel more comfortable after my week.

"But I want to. If there's other women, I'd rather stake my claim openly. It gives a stronger message."

"And I'll help her look the part." Kasey strutted in. She wore her string bikini with a silky green kimono draping her torso, marching in her heels. Pausing beside me, she gave Tony a wry grin. "She's about to look the part as mafia queen."

Now I felt a sudden rush of nerves because my hair never had the boldness the true women of crime had in all the movies, and I didn't know my makeup that well, often never wearing it. Kasey sent me a wink that her years in the club would finally pay off for more than her good tips. She had mastered the skills of big hair and painting smokey eyes. Swallowing hard, she didn't even wait before dragging me up to my room. Sofia decided she'd join the fun.

Emilia looked radiant in the dress I had picked for her. The silky red became her true color as her breasts shook slightly with every click in her heels. The spaghetti straps created a small draping between them for every man here to salivate over my woman. The slit up her thigh let them see her athletic legs that she kept in shape with her running. With the honey hue of her hair, it danced in perfectly teased curls around her face and down her exposed back. Kasey knocked it out of the park when she helped her friend get ready to look the part.

I could barely contain my hard-on with her at my side. Luckily, she wore a mask to hide her painted eyes for partial privacy to her identity. No one would ever appreciate the lengths Dray and I took to getting her here, but I knew neither of us would change it for the world. She fit us like no one ever had before, and she let our love be its own entity without demanding us to only be the trio. We could pair off and still come back as a whole.

Even though it had been a short time, no one could replace her in our lives. Keeping my large hand on the small of her lower back, I let her warmth spread through my desperate touch to keep us tethered through this business meeting. My father decided now would be the time he wanted me to handle Carlo’s end of the business, and I had a feeling it didn’t have anything to do with me taking over the company. No, he wanted me to prove myself, but I didn’t know what he wanted me to achieve.

Carlo’s men ran our local supply chain for our products to spread through the streets, and he had a seat at the table. What needed adjusted? Everything ran smoothly, and we gave him a good cut for his work. Something felt weird about this whole environment, but I remembered how many times my father came home smelling of cheap perfume and drugs. Emilia didn’t know this, but I brought her here to be my safety. If this took the turn my gut told me it would, I needed to keep my wits about me. Bringing Dray would be our demise with our open sexuality.

Even though we were the only men we were attracted to, it didn’t change how our home situation would respond. Maybe this was a test from my father. Maybe he caught wind of something. Leaning closer to Emilia’s ear, I needed to know she’d help me. “Do you trust me?”

“Trust you? Why? Are we in danger?” Her quick mind sharpened and expected the worst from the mafia porn books she read.

“Not in the deadly sense, but I just need to know you’re committed. We’re about to be in a den of vipers like you haven’t read about, and I need to know you trust me to do what I need to once we’re inside. It might be inappropriate.” Listening to the rhythmic music coming from within the parlor with dim lighting, I knew my hunch had been correct.

“I trust you, Tony.” Her hand reached over to my thigh to give it a squeeze but retreated just as fast to not let anyone else see it.

“Good girl,” I growled lowly for only her, hearing the slight catch in her breath.

Before either of us could say more, we were greeted by topless women holding trays of liquor. Being polite, I took one for each of us because Emilia needed an extra second to straighten her surprise. Dipping my chin to their service, I sent them a wink. “Thank you, ladies.”

They parted for us to find our way around the table. On the edges in booths, I found other dates and escorts there to not be in the meeting. Even though I hated putting Emilia in the corner, I knew I had to for this meeting.
