"I thank you for your loyalty." Tony accepted the knife to slice his palm, securing their allegiance.

"No problem." Carlo sat forward as his help wrapped his hand. "And take my invitation for the party. It's the ticket in. I have no need to go to such an event."

Being alerted by Costas of their arrival home, I went to the foyer to greet them. The square had quieted down a great deal now that the other members of our home were resting, and the guards were lighter for the interior during the night. We had plenty outside of it. Waiting on bated breath, they finally came in with Tony having to carry our girl. She kept her head in the nook of his neck, sleepily snuggling against him.

When he saw me, his smile broadened. "You're awake."

"Of course. You were going to a party without my protection. I couldn't sleep even if I tried." Meeting him, we exchanged Millie for me to hold her for a minute. At first, she didn't like being jostled, but she settled once she inhaled my scent, recognizing me. After letting her get cozier, we walked to our bedrooms in the back of the main floor. "So how did it go?"

"Enlightening. Your father is hosting a gala in hopes to charm other seats back into his pocket. Carlo and Augustus stand with us. Their word is bond." Showing me his hand, the bandage had been secured to hold back all the blood that stained through.

"I thought he needed something from us?" I asked, remembering the formal lettering we received upon our return.

"He wanted to make sure my father fell for the guise because my father knows about your father's stunt," scoffing, he couldn't believe the ill games being played by his father. "They don't want replaced."

"Do you think they're working together?" I inquired as he opened my door for me.

"We don't have proof, but I think it's a safe assumption to be prepared for. My father has been acting more squirrelly than usual." Nodding his head to his door, he let me know he'd be inside my room after dressing down in his. He probably needed a moment to gather his senses on everything he learned from Carlo. I never trusted Carlo, but he hadn't done us dirty.

Lying Sunshine in the center of the bed, I placed my body flush against hers after removing my shirt. She could sense me leaving her for those few seconds, whimpering in my absence. Now that she had been sharing a bed with us, everything felt right within the world. We were one united front, finally able to embrace everything our love had to offer. Though, Costas's expression still sat in my mind from the day we returned. This morning ate at me too. Something kindled between them, and I hadn't been able to talk to Tony about it.

When he came in, he saw how hunkered down Sunshine got in the bed against my chest. She wore his jacket, telling me he blanketed her to cover her lithe frame from the cold. Though, when I began removing the jacket that drowned her small frame, I saw her dress had been ripped. "Oh?"

He gave me saucy grin. "I lost myself to the throngs of our passion. She enjoyed being the center of the show too."

"Sunshine?" I had to make him repeat that because of her quiet demeanor.

"Loved being the star." He climbed into the bed. "She's quite the little exhibitionist."

"Sounds like the meeting was good then," I responded.

"Until Francisco touched her. I'll be handling that tomorrow if you're okay without me."

"Whatever he did, you better make him pay."

"He had the audacity to grab Emilia's breast while riding me. He even twisted her nipple and didn't heed to my first warning. He's as good as dead," Tony growled.

"Good," I agreed to whatever method he wanted to attempt against the pervert. "But speaking of other men and Millie, have you noticed anything odd between her and Costas?"

Tony paused placing the duvet over his lap after sliding next to her back. "Costas and Emilia?"

Placing one hand behind my head, I looked forward instead of at him. "When we returned, he looked almost gutted when she ran to us. I don't think he meant to let it slip, but it did."

"Has she given off the impression of liking him in return?" he whispered over the sleeping woman in question.

"I'm not sure. She's defensive of him, but I think that's just her kindhearted nature." Thinking about it, I didn't know.

"So we're talking about a hypothetical idea that might not even become reality?" Tony pointed out.

"Even if it doesn't become a reality, we need to figure out if we're okay with the possibility of another being involved with her." Shifting uncomfortably, I finally let my gaze find his.

He comprehended the importance and significance of my words. With us already being together and wanting her, the poly dynamic already existed, but to what extent? "We're discussing if we're open to allowing outside partners in our relationship?"

"I'm making my stance clear right now that I am a man who does not share outside of what we have, and I don't want anyone else," I hastily added for him to know I only needed what we created.
