“Can you come for us one more time?” I ask, turning to face her. She turns her head to mine and I reach out, brushing my hand over her cheek softly. “I want you to come one more time for us, okay?”

She nods, her hips still moving as she chases release. I bring my hand down, helping her along by stroking my fingers over her clit. She’s so wet that my index finger glides right over the hood, catching on the bud. I flip between rubbing tiny circles into it and scissoring it between the first and middle fingers, testing to see which way she seems to like more.

Her hips buck up into Bastian’s more frantically now and Bastian moves quicker to keep up. His shoulders are tensed, his eyes closed. He’s been trying to hold off, but I can tell he’s not going to last much longer and with a deep thrust, he comes inside Sienna with a grunt.

Sienna arches her back and lets out a wordless cry as she comes again, laying back against the pillows with a sheen of sweat over her body.

“You did so good,” I praise her, kissing her lips as I untie the restraints and massage her wrists. “You took us so well.”

Bastian slips out of her and off the bed. “I’ll be right back,” he says. He leaves to get stuff to clean up with and I pull Sienna into my arms, kissing her softly.

“Wow,” she whispers, a playful smile on her lips. “I don’t think I’ve ever felt so good.”

“Glad we could be the ones to bring you there,” I say, chest aching from how amazing I feel right now. “You deserve to feel good.”

She nods, rubbing her face against my chest. “Thank you,” she says. “I feel so safe with you guys.”

A surge of warmth blooms in my chest. “Good. You’re safe with us, Sienna. Always. We care about you more than you know.”

Sienna places her head on my chest and I stroke a hand over her curls, reveling in how soft and silky they feel under my fingertips. Being around Sienna has shown me just how bitter and closed off I’d been for so long.

Ever since we lost Emily, I was scared to trust anyone, scared to let myself feel something. But Sienna’s presence has made me want to try again, to give her my heart even if it means getting hurt.

It’s simultaneously thrilling and terrifying. If I let myself fall for her, what does this mean for us? The arrangement had an unspoken timeline—things would end once Sienna’s job was done here in Caspian Springs.

But now that everything is different, does that change things? Would Sienna stay with us once she’s done with her research? Could we ask that of her?

Bastian comes back with a wet cloth and some ointment. He starts helping Sienna clean up, wiping the slick from her thighs before having her turn over to apply some cream to the marks on her backside.

She’s delightfully red now, with some of the spots turning a nice bruise color. They’ll last a few days probably. I love seeing her skin marked up from my hands.

My chest feels hollow as I think about her leaving us, the deadline looming on the horizon. I don’t even know how she feels, so there’s no way I can ask her to stay on our behalf. She deserves her freedom if that’s what she wants.

I stay silent, only giving her a quiet smile when she turns to nestle against me once more. No matter what happens in the future, I’m just glad to have the time with her that we’ve gotten.

“Okay, lunch is over. Back to work,” Sienna says, poking me in the side as soon as she’s done eating. “You promised.”

“I should have never made that promise,” I grumble. “You tricked me.” I can’t believe I fell for that pretty face. She’s a master manipulator.

“I made an offer you couldn’t refuse,” she corrects, winking as she gets up to clean the dishes. I made stuffed salmon and rice for the two of us.

Bastian and Caleb are out all day, since Bastian is working on a bike at the shop and Caleb is fixing an issue with our website.

So Sienna had cornered me this morning, asking me to go with her for her morning interviews. Once that was done, she asked if I would like to have some fun with her after lunch, making it sound like she had something irresistible planned. The look she gave me had me instantly agreeing.

Now she pulls me into the living room, where she has a variety of nail polishes picked out so we could paint each other’s toenails. My brothers are never going to let me live this down. It’s my own fault for agreeing without finding out what she wanted to do first.

“Pick a color,” Sienna says, showing off the dozen or so bottles she’s placed on the coffee table. I shake my head and bend down, examining the bottles. If it were anyone else, I would never do this but Sienna has me wrapped around her finger, even if she doesn’t know it.

Selecting a pale pink that I hope matches my own nail color closely enough not to be noticeable at the gym, I hand it to Sienna. She plucks up a bottle of shimmery blue and hands it to me.

“I’ve never really had friends to do stuff like this before,” she confesses as she shakes the bottle.

I raise an eyebrow. “Not even in college?”
