Caleb nods and they bag everything while I pay. Once we’re done, Caleb takes the cart, running forward and coasting through the parking lot.

“Let’s go home,” I tell them. “I need to go out for a while, but I’ll be back before dinner. You two have fun with Dominic when he gets done at the shop.”

“Everything okay?” Sienna asks. I nod and grab her hand with mine.

“Everything is perfect, Princess,” I tell her.

With determination burning in my chest, I resolve to rid our town of the Serpent threat once and for all. As I glance at Sienna beside me, I know that I'll stop at nothing to ensure her safety and our future together.

DOMINIC

The afternoon sun filters through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. The faint hum of cicadas drifts in through the open window, mingling with the soft click-clack of Sienna's keyboard as she works diligently at her laptop.

Standing in the doorway, I watch her for a moment, admiring the way the sunlight dances in her hair, casting golden highlights against the copper waves.

Bastian’s been making mysterious phone calls lately, tension from the Serpent threat lingering in the air. He’s off doing an errand with Caleb, leaving me alone in the house with Sienna. With no repairs on the duty roster, I have an unexpected day off, a rare luxury in our hectic lives.

Leaning against the door frame of Caleb and Sienna's room, I clear my throat to announce my presence. Sienna glances up from her work, a warm smile lighting up her features as I enter the room.

“Hey, Princess,” I say, crossing the room to sit beside her on the bed.

Her smile widens at my approach. “Hey,” she replies, setting aside her laptop to give me her full attention.

“I thought you and I might do something together,” I begin, feeling a spark of excitement ignite within me at the prospect. “Maybe have a little fun?”

Sienna’s gaze locks on mine. “What did you have in mind?” she asks, her voice taking on a playful lilt.

“If you’re not busy, I thought maybe I could show you some new experiences,” I offer. “I know Bas and Caleb gave you an intro into the kink scene, but I have some stuff I could show you too.”

The chair creaks as Sienna stands up, moving to straddle my lap. “Oh?” she says, running her hands through my hair. “What kind of stuff do you want to try?”

I grasp her by the hips, pulling her into me. “I was thinking maybe you and I could experiment with role-playing. What do you think?”

“I’ve never done anything like that,” she admits. “What did you have in mind?”

“This might seem odd but what do you say if we pretend to be an FBI agent and the mob boss’s daughter, and we meet at a party and only have one night to be together?”

“I say … fancy meeting you here, Agent Smith,” Sienna says in a deep purr. “I wasn’t expecting to see you after the incident in Venezuela,” she stands up, body moving lithely as she walks over to the desk again and picks up her cup of water.

Holding it like a wine glass, she turns and gives me a sultry look. “What do you think you’re doing?” she asks. “You know we can’t be seen in public like this.”

“Miss Winterthorpe, if you’d look around you’d notice we’re entirely alone,” I say, slipping into the role. “Why do you think I cornered you in your father’s library tonight, on the night of his annual birthday gala?”

Sienna giggles and then turns her expression more serious. “It’s dangerous to show up here at my father’s manor, Agent. You don’t think that some of his guests will recognize you?”

I surge forward, pulling her into a passionate embrace before leaning down to murmur in her ear, “I don’t care. For you, it’s worth getting caught if all we can have is tonight, Miss Winterthorpe.”

“Agent Smith,” Sienna sighs, leaning into me and kissing me. “You promised last time you saw me that you would teach me how to behave myself. Do you intend to keep that promise?”

I run my hands along her back, tilt her head back, and kiss her fiercely, nipping her bottom lip with my teeth before devouring her mouth, leaving us both dizzy and breathless by the time we break apart. “I always keep the promises I make,” I say, voice deep.

She stares up at me with doe eyes and I push her up against the wall, pinning her in place. “Are you going to be good for me, or do I have to show you why they call me the best agent in the business?”

Sienna lets out a tiny mewl and spreads her legs, giving me a lascivious look. “I’ll cooperate, but only for you, Agent Smith.”

“Good,” I tell her. “Then get on your knees.”
