"Oh, ok. Maybe I will."

Long time plans. Again, the unsettling feeling that we might not have the time to do all those things nestled in my chest.

I loved weddings.

I didn’t remember ever going to one, not even mine, but I loved weddings.

Although there were many dresses hanging in my closet, James insisted on a new one, something to match with his pocket square. He took me to the most stylish dress boutique I'd ever seen - the type that served you champagne. I tried on a dozen dresses, parading them in front of my husband waiting for his seal of approval. I felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, except James was way sexier than Richard Gere.

I went for a long, silky dress in the color of sangria wine, strapless and with a sweetheart neckline, very different from the black and tight dress I wore for the engagement party. The skirt was cut on both legs, showing my skin that was shimmering because of the creams I used. I watched myself in the tall mirror in the dressing room, and I was pleased at how beautiful my legs looked in the silver high heels I picked out.

From behind me, James stepped in the room looking ravishing in his tux, tailored just for him. He was more handsome than ever.

His eyes were on the screen on his phone, and when he finally looked up in my direction, the look of admiration on his face almost knocked me off my feet.

"You like the view, Dr. Sullivan?" I asked playfully.

"Fucking hell." In a flash of a second, I was in his arms, and he was kissing me stupid. "You're so fucking beautiful. I have to keep you glued to my side tonight, or I'll end up fist fighting some idiot who decides to get too close to you."

I got turned on immediately. I loved that I could make him possessive over me.

"And you think I won't have a problem with some bimbo who'll try to steal you for a dance? If I see anyone who works at your hospital looking at you with heart eyes, I'm coming to work with you every day."

"After the number you pulled in my office, the only thing I can think when I'm at work is about you and this mouth that I'm so found of."

We kissed again. If we were going to keep this up, we would be late, and this mouth he was so fond of would be on his shaft again.

"James, papi, if you keep touching me like this, we won’t make it to the ceremony. Zachary will hate it if his best man is late."

"Correct. Love, I know you don't have much jewelry..."

"I noticed, but I'm not surprised. I don't think I ever had enough money to buy myself a ring, but I'm fine with just our wedding bands."

He shook his head, looking a little sad.

"I will change that. I know I never even gave you an engagement ring, but I'd like to take you to a jeweler to have some pieces made for you."

"James, I don't need or particularly want expensive things, but we could go buy something for Chelsea, maybe a bracelet with her name." Then my sight fell on his wrist and the silver watch complimenting it. "Is that a Rolex?"

"Yeah, I have three, all presents from my parents, but I don't wear them very often. Do you like it?" Oh, that must have cost more than my parents made in a year.

"It looks sexy on you. We need to go; the ceremony starts in two hours." And we needed to be there at least ninety minutes early to take some photos and make sure everyone knew their roles for the day, or Paris would have our asses.

I'd met London's cousin at the bachelorette party - or more like a bachelorette dinner with junk food and tons of wine; so much wine James had to come and carry me home over his shoulder. Paris was a supernova, all glitz, glam and fashion. She was fun and beautiful, and I absolutely loved her, but in the last week, I had come to the conclusion that she had the soul of a drill sergeant. She didn't miss the smallest detail for this wedding.

"Go take Chelsea from her crib, and I will call the car service."

My daughter was patiently waiting, playing with a squeaky toy. Today would be London's day, but Chelsea would steal the show. She was so beautiful in a white, puffy dress and matching headband that had a flower on it. Her eyes that had the same color as her father's sparkled with joy when I got to her. Her small arms stretched to me, showing she wanted to be picked up, and I complied happily.

"Oh, you adorable little angel." Her chubby cheeks blushed with the softest rose color, and she giggled.

Chelsea was as well behaved and content as her daddy. The entire ride to the venue, she sucked on a bottle filled with chamomile tea, without making a noise.

"Wow, this place is amazing."

I was mesmerized by the place. Zach and London chose to have an outside ceremony on the river walk. The open deck was decorated with lights and rivers of flowers - thousands and thousands of orchids - that made the place seem out of a fairytale.

"Mhm, it's beautiful. The Riverwalk holds a special meaning for them." Oh, how romantic.
