Chapter fifty-seven

Brielle

Walking out of the bathroom, I hummed as I felt Killian’s hand caress my waist.

He placed a small kiss on my shoulder. “Good morning, love..” He muttered into my skin, and I could tell he was feeling a bit eager, if you will. Though I would usually submit to his lustful and desired-filled actions, I had to compose myself for the moment.

“Killy… During our little talk yesterday, I noticed you told me everything you deemed I should know, and I am very pleased with the answers I received.” I admitted, and he hummed as his hands slowly ran down my arm and over my waist. Biting my lip, I placed my hands on his wandering ones as I spoke.

“However, you still have yet to tell me something that should have been the main priority of this whole thing with Marissa and.. Calvin…” Confused, he tilted his head as I pulled away and turned to face him.

“What did I neglect to tell you?” He asked.

“You neglected to inform me about Calvin basically abducting my baby and Benjamin.” The look on his face changed suddenly, and I knew exactly what he was thinking, so I continued.

“And no, Benjamin didn’t tell me… you really think a little girl isn’t going to tell her mommy about a scary little boy that looked like he was going to eat her up?”

He looked away as he stepped back. “Darling, the whole incident must have slipped from my mind. I had a talk with her about the situation, and she didn’t even look bothered by it.”

“Well, Mommy told her not to say anything because she wanted to see when Daddy would come clean, but it seems he still hasn’t learned what honesty truly means.” I gave him a smile, and he groaned as he stepped away and left the room. Meanwhile, I was trying to stop myself from laughing as I descended the stairs. Walking into the kitchen, I noticed Blaine sitting on the island, eating his breakfast.

“Good morning, Bribri.” He spoke, and I picked up my coffee and took a small sip.

“Good morning, Blaine.” He looked over to me as he took a bite from his breakfast.

“You know, I thought I wouldn’t see you for another hour or so.. looks like we’re going to be on time.” I tilted my head as I furrowed my eyebrows.

“Why did you think we weren’t going to be on time?”

He gave me a slight shrug as his lips moved up a bit. “The look on his face didn’t exactly say ‘I’m not horny,’” I rolled my eyes. “Blaine, sometimes you’re literally unbearable.”

He shrugged again. “It’s not my fault you guys like going at it like bunnies.” Shaking my head at him, we both heard footsteps coming in. Eugene made his appearance, and I smiled at him.

“Good morning, Eugene..” He gave me a kiss on top of my head and said it back as he walked over to his breakfast and took a seat next to Blaine.

“How was your night?” I asked him.

“It was so-so..” He responded, and I nodded as we all heard Killian coming down the stairs and speaking on the phone. He ended the call, and upon entering the kitchen, he didn’t spare me one glance. Blaine looked down at his food and muttered slightly.

“Guess someone’s still a little horny.” I looked over at him in shock.

“Oh my gosh, Blaine, my brother is sitting right next to you.” He rolled his eyes, and Eugene chuckled.

“Totally fine guys. Just ruin the image of my baby sister in my mind even more, why don’t you?” Blaine looked over at him seriously as he took a bite of his pancakes.

“Are you sure? Because they can be a little kinky, you know? It’s like they play on the boss and assistant thing way too much, even for me-” He began and winced as I threw the empty carton of almond milk directly at his head. My face flushed in embarrassment as Eugene shook his head. Killian walked over and placed his hand on my lower back as he sighed.

“Grow up, Blaine.” Blaine glared at me for a moment, and as if a look of mischief flashed in his eyes, he smirked as he looked back at Killian.

“Yes, sir.”He said seductively, and I narrowed my eyes at him as I grabbed a fork to throw next while he screamed, hiding under the counter. Luckily for him, Killian grabbed it from my hand and placed it on the table.

Eugene shook his head again, smiling, but it soon dropped as he received a notification on his phone. After pulling it out of his pocket, he opened it, and Killian furrowed his eyebrows.

“Didn’t you tell me you stopped using phones because you didn’t want to be ‘traced’?” Eugene looked down at his phone and muttered.

“Yeah… but I need this for a specific reason..” He placed it back in his pocket and sat nervously. I went to speak, but he already hopped off of the chair and grabbed his jacket.

“I have to go,” He spoke lowly, and before he left, I grabbed his arm.
