“Walk away, Blaine,” I uttered, not moving my eyes from the screen. He gave a nod as he walked back to his desk. A few hours and coffees went by before I was almost done, and surprisingly, Blaine did contribute, even if it was the bare minimum. Placing the last file on his desk, I sighed.

“I feel like going back to his office.” He looked up at me as he leaned back in his chair.

“Why?”

I shrugged. “I miss him…”

“You’ve got it that bad for him, huh?” He said with a sly eyebrow raised, and I rolled my eyes.

“I love the man, Blaine. What do you expect?” He shrugged.

“Well, you do have a point.” Grabbing my purse, I ruffled his hair and walked to the door. “I’ll see you a little later.”

He spoke again. “I’ll make sure to give you all of my paperwork from now on.” Opening the door, I looked back.

“Do that, and I might just bring some scissors the next time I come to work,” I warned, and he furrowed his eyebrows before moving his hands to cover his lap.

“And why would you need scissors?” I didn’t say anything, but before I closed the door, I made a scissor motion with my fingers, and he yelped as I closed it. I chuckled as Nathan looked at me with cautious eyes, and we made our way to the elevator and outside. Again, I got in the car, and he drove me back to Killian’s building.

Going inside, I went to the elevator and back up to the top floor. The doors opened, and I headed straight into his office, ignoring Anna’s look of confusion. Opening his door, I saw him sitting on his couch reading a few papers. He looked up and over to me in confusion as I walked closer to him. Dropping my purse on the floor, I placed a kiss on his lips. He put the papers on the table and pulled me closer as he deepened the kiss.

Eventually, I was straddling his lap, and his hands stayed on my waist as he ground himself into me. I moved my hands to his face and pulled away after a few moments as I placed my forehead against his.

“Stop making me upset.. It’s just getting annoying now.” One of his fingers lifted my chin, and he placed his lips on mine again. After a minute or so, he pulled away.

“I called you nonstop for the first two hours you left, and Blaine had to be the one to tell me you were with him.”

“It’s called teaching you a lesson about keeping secrets.” He pulled me closer, and I heard him growl slightly as he looked me up and down.

“You’re lucky that I had a damn good reason for it, or else I’d be teaching you alessontoo.” He responded as I gave him a look.

“And I’m sure you’re not gonna tell me what it is.”

“You’re a smart girl, darling. You should know the answer by now.” I leaned my head on his shoulder as he placed his mouth on my neck. The door opened, and we both heard a voice.

“Oh, am I interrupting-”

“Leave Valarie,” He said angrily, and I heard the door close as I pulled away.

“Why does she have to be your ex?” I asked, and he sighed.

“It’s just business, love. She has information that will be essential for us.. besides if she had any thought of us getting ‘back together,’ the little show she just witnessed should have made her abandon that idea instantly.” I gave him a smile as I pecked his lips.

“I love you..” I whispered, and he gave me a cocky smirk as I felt the palm of his hand come down on my bum.

“And I love you too, my little jealous princess.” I slapped his shoulder playfully, and he chuckled as he leaned in again to claim my lips.

Omniscient

Gregory sighed as he placed his hands in his hair, processing everything that happened in a span of 24 hours. Their plans were starting to backfire, and it wasn’t looking promising for them. They could be sent to prison for everything, and it was almost too late to keep pushing.

Cheryl entered his office and sighed, seeing how much of a mess it was. She took a seat on the chair, and just then, the phone rang. Picking it up, she placed it on speaker.

“Hello?”She spoke and heard her daughter come in through the other line.

“Guess who I just ran into!”Marissa exclaimed, and her parents already had a bit of an idea who it was.

“So not only did the bitch see me, but I bet she’s off telling Killian fucking everything.”Gregory tried speaking, but it was useless as Marissa’s anger boomed through the phone. While on the phone, Marissa continued walking down the sidewalk to get to her car, and she could hear her mother through the phone.
