“Don’t worry, that’ll happenverysoon.”

Meanwhile, Delilah was in school working on the first-grade classwork that was assigned to the class, and Kimiko sat beside her working as well. Ms. Dawn sat in front of the class as she occupied herself, and Delilah knew Archer was still staring at her from the back of the classroom.

Besides the fact that he made her feel a bit suffocated, going to school was one of her favorite things to do. There was only one other issue…

Feeling something hit her back, she looked down to see a paper ball. Sighing, she looked up to the culprit, and it was none other than the boy who pushed her on the first day. Being one of the ‘exceptional’ students to skip kindergarten had its ups and downs, and a mean, older first-grade boy was one of the downs. She quickly picked up the paper ball and discreetly hid it from Kimiko.

If her best friend saw what was thrown, or rather who threw it, she knew things would go downhill. Feeling another ball hit her head, she sighed in frustration.

Before she had a chance to respond, a loud sound echoed through the room, drawing the attention of the entire class. They turned to see Archer standing from his chair, his desk pushed onto the ground.

“Archer-” Ms. Dawn began, but she gasped as Archer roughly grabbed the collar of the boy who threw the ball, violently yanking him out of the chair and pulling him closer.

“Go ahead… Throw another one.I dare you to.”
