“I want 25% of your company’s shares.”I slammed my hand on my desk, and Brielle walked in with a cup of coffee. She set it down on my desk and walked into her office.

“Bullshit. I told you I’m no longer doing business with you.”

“You say a lot of things, Killian. It must’ve slipped my mind. I think it’s best to consider your options before giving me a direct answer.”

“You’re a piece of shit, you know that?”

“Oh, you tell me every time I speak to you. I won’t ever forget. Now, Killian, I have to tend to a few more matters as I arrange for us to speak on the terms and conditions of our impending agreement, but until then. Tata.” Ihung up the call outraged and redialled Blaine. He answered the phone and tsked.

“Kiki.. You gotta learn to keep your dick in your pants.”

It was around eight, and I had just finished getting dressed after a shower. Walking up the stairs, I paused when I heard voices. Going over to Delilah’s bedroom, I leaned on the door frame and watched as Brielle sat on the bed, caressing Delilah’s face as she lay down, tucked under the blanket.

“You should be excited for your birthday, baby,” Brielle said, and Delilah sighed.

“I know, but.. I don’t want to be five.”

Brielle tilted her head. “Well, why not?”

“Because when I turn five, I’ll be closer to kidder-garden,”

Brielle giggled softly. “Kindergarten, baby.”

“Same word… I don’t wanna go because I’ll be away from you.”

“But Dede, that’s a part of growing up. And you’re not alone in this. I already know that when you go to school, I’m going to be in tears.” She replied sadly, and I stepped in as they both looked over to me.

I spoke, offering my own input. “Well, if it’s that much of a problem, then sending her to regular school won’t be necessary.”

“What do you mean?” Brielle asked, and I shrugged my shoulders as I took a seat on the bed as well.

“If you and her aren’t happy with the thought of going to real school, then we’ll just have her do school online or have a tutor.”

“Really!” Delilah smiled excitedly, and I nodded my head. “Really.”

“Killian, she needs to go to regular school,” Brielle stated, and I shook my head.

“Not right now, she doesn’t. She’ll go when she’s ready.”

“And what if she isn’t ready?” She questioned, and I shrugged my shoulders.

“Then I guess she won’t be going.” She looked away from me and down at Delilah, who was smiling up at her sleepily.

“It’s time for bed, baby,” Brielle whispered, and Delilah nodded as she closed her eyes. Brielle kissed her forehead and stood up, walking out. I followed her swiftly, and she pulled the door slightly once I was out of the room. Walking down the stairs, I heard her following behind me, and once I reached the living room, I took a seat on the couch, and she sat beside me.

She turned towards me, and one of her legs was folded on the couch. She was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, black tights, and her infamous fluffy socks. Her hair was in an extremely messy bun, to the point where pieces fell down her back. Even looking like this, she was still very deliciously arousing. I picked up one of her loose strands and twirled it around my finger.

“I have the plans prepared for Delilah’s party this weekend,” I made known, and she gave me a fake grin.

“You do?” She spoke, and I nodded.

“Of course. The planner will be here tomorrow to discuss the details and invitations that need to be sent out, but other than that, everything is finalized.”

“Great..” She stood up, and I caught her hand before she was able to go.

“Where are you going?” I asked, and she nodded toward the steps.

“To bed. Listening to you justify your choices of overseeing everything isn’t going to do me any good.” I chuckled lowly as I pulled her back, and she landed on my lap. She tried to get up again, but I pulled her other leg and placed it on the other side of me so that she was now straddling my legs.
