“Here, eat.” A plate is slid onto the table in front of me and I look up to see Royal, who takes the seat next to me.

I see the other brothers my age follow suit.

“You look like you haven’t slept in days, brother,” Jack says, then takes a bite out of his burger.

“Pretty much. Every time I close my eyes, something pops into my head that I need to check out, then I get lost in my search.” I take a bite out of my club sandwich, and I groan as the flavors hit my taste buds.

This is my favorite meal. A turkey, chicken, and ham club, with chips, a chocolate bar, and a soda.

“Fuck me, did he just come in his pants?” I flip Calder off, and the guys laugh.

“Did you find anything on the fucks who robbed Darcy?” Lennox asks.

“I think they are working out of Pompano Beach. The car they were driving was stolen from there, and I searched the traffic cams and traced the car driving back there.”

“Man, you need to sleep,” Travis pipes in, before filling his mouth with fries.

I nod in agreement. “I will when I have enough info on these fucks, so we can hunt them down for scaring Darcy and her staff,” I grunt.

“Brother, it has been a week since that shit went down. How is Darcy?” Lennox asks.

He is invested in this as much as me, because Darcy has become a good friend to his Ol’ Lady, Astrid, plus she loves Drix, Lennox’s older brother who has some mental disabilities.

I hate that we can’t pinpoint these fuckers. Cal hasn’t found anything either. His officers looked into people with the same MO but nothing came back, none in the area I narrowed it down to either.

It pisses me off; fuck, it is stopping me from sleeping at night.

Someone clicks their fingers in front of my face and I blink, jerking my head back, not realizing that I had spaced out.

Looking to Royal, I see the dipped brow and thinned lips in concern.

“Sorry. What did you say?”

“Lennox asked how Darcy is doing with all of this? Fuck, brother, you need to take one of Della’s sleeping pills,” Royal states.

Finan speaks, Calder nods. “They help Mom. She has had trouble sleeping since she had that scare. Keeps thinking the cancer could come back, or Dad or one of us will get it.”

“Fuck, that was a scary time,” Travis mutters.

We were all worried sick thinking that Della’s cancer was worse than it was but thank fuck it was something that was dealt with and she didn’t have a bad case.

“But it did bring you your woman and daughter.” Calder points to his brother, who smiles like he won the lottery and nods.

“True. It was definitely a bittersweet memory, especially when Juni was taken,” Finan says.

“She is a good girl, brother. You and Joss are great parents. Any more kids on the horizon?” Jack asks.

Already shaking his head, “Nah, brother. I think we are happy just the three of us. We will enjoy you guys bringing new babies into the club.”

“I am working on baby number two, but Willa is being firm on waiting until Mable is at least five or older,” Travis gripes, crossing his arms over his chest like he is pouting.

I smile at him. “The fun is in the trying, brother.”

His smile widens. “Fuck yeah, it is.”

“Anyway, back to how Darcy is doing. I heard that her window was fixed and she opened up like nothing happened,” Lennox edges.

“Cal said she is doing fine.” I shrug.
