My body is still humming from the interaction with Calder in the kitchen.
Why does this man get my body reacting like this?
He sets me on fire with just one look, but then I get doused with ice cold water when I think of him with so many other women, and that is just since I have been involved with the club after my sister got blind-ass drunk and married a member.
Royal is a great brother-in-law, and the club has my back if I need them.
I have known Calder for most of my life as we were in school together. He was a slut back in high school, becoming sexually active at an early age. No doubt being a club brat helped him get the girls and he only got worse as he got older.
We would hang out at times, nothing beyond a friendship; I had always wanted us to be more but he never saw me that way.
Being around the club and Calder more has made so many feelings that I have had for him over the years resurface. When I caught him at a school dance fucking one of the girls who had been bullying me pretty badly, I knew that I could never be with him, not that he wanted to be with me.
In school I was not as cool as I am now. I was very gothy, and hated everyone who didn’t like the shit that I did. It was a phase, thankfully. When I went to college, I changed so much that I stunned my family, hell, myself too.
From the dance onwards I had to push down any and all feelings that I had for Calder, to the point where I would ignore him at school even when he greeted me. He tried a few times to speak to me, but I blew past him, not wanting to hear anything he had to say.
He saw the shit that bitch put me through, yet he fucked her anyway and expected me to still speak to him. From then on, we drifted apart and I was okay with that. I needed to get on with my life and Calder would get sucked into the MC life as he was born to do.
All of the guys were born into the club and it is in their blood to make the MC grow, and that is amazing to see looking around the room now.
Dominic, Jack’s son, is lying on his stomach, coloring a huge coloring sheet with Adley, who was adopted by Lennox and Astrid after she was rescued from some fucked-up people. Mable, who is Travis and Willa’s baby girl is crawling around them, all over Dom’s back and he lets her.
I have no doubt he will grow into a fine young man; Jack has done right by him.
The whole club has helped raise him well.
My gaze lifts to Calder, who is sitting with the other guys. He is smiling at something Jack said, and I want to melt into the leather chair I am sitting on. Damn him for being fucking hot as sin.
His dark thick hair flops across his forehead when it is brushed back, and when I see him running his fingers through it, my own itch to do the same. A light dusting of dark hair covers his lower face from a few days of no shaving. Calder can pull off the clean-shaven, the stubble, and a full beard look all three, not that he has done it for a while.
He likes a little stubble; I heard him comment on how the ladies love it when he goes down on them.
Thinking of Calder between my thighs, my pussy clenches and I bite my lip. It has been months since I last got laid and it is confusing my inner thoughts about Calder. I need to get laid, that is it.
