CHAPTER FOURTEEN

KADY

The light crackling of the thin sheet of resin that peels off a mold is soothing to the soul. I love the AMSR videos online, so I love cleaning my molds and demolding my designs.

Today is my cleanup day. I am settled in for a few hours of demolding, ready for them to have the final touches tomorrow, and I get to clean my molds because I like to do it once a week.

Once the resin is off the mold, I drop it into some warm water to soak for a little while, which helps any residue and color stain from the ink to come off. it won’t come off completely but it will look better.

Dressed in a pair of sweat shorts and a cropped top, my hair is clipped back in a half-up style to keep my hair out of my face. I drop the last of my heart molds into the bowl, before walking back into my house to refresh my coffee.

It is lazy and comfort day.

My lunch is on order from Crossroads, because I do not plan on cooking or leaving my house today. With my new deliciously smelling coffee in my mug, I decide to have it on my small front porch to enjoy the midday vibe in my neighborhood.

When I bought my house, I got such a good, mellowed vibe from the people living here already. I knew it would be quiet with the number of families that lived here. Yeah, the kids would play in the street but they were respectful and who can deny kids playing ball and having fun.

Kids may not be in my future, but I like the energy the neighborhood holds.

Waving to my neighbor, Denise, as she loads her tribe of four kids into the car, I smile seeing her oldest boy who is sixteen winking at me; the boy is trouble with the girls. I have seen them hanging around the house waiting for him.

Shaking my head at him, hiding my smile behind my mug, I settle back into my seat, resting my feet on the edge of the chair.

The sound of pipes fills the air, steeling my spine.

I know that it won’t be Royal because ever since my sister got pregnant, he won’t let her on the back of his bike. Rounding the corner turning onto my street is a Harley Soft Tail that I know all too well.

Sipping my coffee, I calm my rapidly beating heart. It has been a few days since I last saw him, since he fucked me in the club in front of so many people, but his touch made me forget where we were.

Then in the hotel shower. Shit, I need to stop thinking about how he makes my body feel if I am going to have a conversation with him.

My gaze slips over him from head to toe. I love how his jeans always fit him like they were made for him. The black T-shirt clings to his body, like it was painted on, the material stretching to capacity around his biceps. His arms are huge.

“Kitten,” he greets me when he dismounts his sexy looking bike.

Running his fingers through his hair, I will my pussy to stop being a greedy bitch. His biceps flex with the movement, as he walks closer to me.

Why is a man running his fingers through his hair, sexy?

“Calder.”

“Looking good, babe.” His voice coming out like a purr is making my lady parts flutter.

Shit.

“What brings you here?” He joins me on the porch, leaning against the railing that my father added not long ago.

“Thought I would come by and spend some time with you. I have a sparkling personality, don’t you know?” He wiggles his eyebrows, making me giggle.

Shaking my head at him, I climb to my feet.

“I guess you had better come in then.” I give him my best smile and enter my house, with Calder hot on my heels.

Going to my kitchen, I can feel his eyes on my body, which heats at the thought of having his attention on me again.

His hands touching me, making me feel good.

His lips searing my skin when he kisses me.
