Page 137 of Florian's Bride

Because only an insane person would kidnap a bride for everyone to see.

“We’re ready for landing.” The pilot’s voice echoes through the plane via the intercom as the machine circles around the house some more and finally lands on the roof.

I don’t even bother asking how it is possible and what kind of material he used to build this house that he can hold a whole-ass plane on it.

The minute the doors open, we unfasten our seat belts and Florian goes to the exit while I follow after him, huffing and puffing in this stupid dress.

And it’s no one’s fault but my own because I refused to change into another dress earlier as Florian barely held himself back from stripping me.

What can I say?

Sometimes annoying him brings me the highest of pleasures and he deserved it for acting this way.

“Let’s go, princess.” He goes down the stairs and grabs my hips, easily lifting me up and reaching the roof in three short strides before placing me back on the ground. “Can’t have you tripping.”

Rolling my eyes despite the warmth traveling all over my system at this, I fist the skirt and head to the other door in the distance that must lead inside the house.

A soft breeze caresses my cheeks and brings much-needed relief to my skin, and my muscles welcome the movement after being stuck on the plane for hours.

I have several seconds to study the second floor that consists of various rooms, judging by the endless hallway with closed doors, before descending down the stairs to the first floor.

I expected to see a lot of things but a plain spacious living room consisting of a couch, two chairs, TV, and a bookshelf wasn’t it.

I’d say the most stunning thing about this whole house are the endless windows with amazing views of the land.

“I don’t need much here. And I prefer to sleep on the first floor.” I spin around to face him as he points at another freaking door in the distance. “There’s a kitchen at the end of the hallway and another house for staff who permanently live here to take care of the property. No one would disturb us and everything can be delivered here quickly, just wish for something and it’s yours.” He removes his jacket and throws it on the couch, the sunset shining bright through the windows and making his handsomeness almost too hard to bear. “You can be mad and furious and scream at me but I’m fucking tired of your silence.” I still the laughter in my throat at his frustration because despite his words, his tone stays gentle.

My voice sounds incredibly raspy as I finally break my hours-long silence. “Do you think this is how they felt?”

He frowns. “Who?”

“Helen and Paris after he kidnapped her to Troy and brought her home.”

He starts to unbutton his shirt while the energy around us changes, becoming more electrifying, and goose bumps break out on my skin from the promise flashing in his eyes. “How is that, princess?”

My whole life everyone called me princess due to me being the youngest and the only girl in both families.

However, the endearment always sounded extra special to me on Florian’s lips over the years, and somehow after our first time together it always manages to flare fire through my veins.

Because he loves to whisper in my ear all sort of things when he takes me and solidifies his complete ownership.

I step back and a wicked smile curves his lips while he removes his shirt, exposing his glorious, carved muscles that I’m itching to touch and kiss.

“How do you think they’d felt, princess?” He repeats his question as he takes a step forward, so I move farther back again, anticipation gliding through me along with excitement. “Tell me.”

“Afraid.”

“Afraid?” Another step forward while I take one back. “Of what?”

“The chaos they left behind.” His grin widens as I lift my chin. “Among other things.”

“What are the other things, princess?”

I shift backward some more as he follows after me, the sunset creating a magical light all around us that urges me to succumb to his gentle yet seductive tone promising me all kinds of things.

However, the man just kidnapped me and he deserves all the teasing in the world.

“Helen must have been embarrassed and nervous about her future.” I sigh for good measure as he advances on me, so I quickly take several more steps, huffing under my breath when he manages to back me in a corner. “Imagine the scandal.”
