Hawk was right though, I should at least try to fight for her.

If she hated my guts, so be it, but I couldn't leave things hanging the way they were.

The big question was, would she even listen to me?

"Excuse me," a new voice interrupted my thoughts.

I looked up to see a woman looking at me. Young, blonde, bright blue eyes, a dress that plunged so far between her breasts, it almost reached her navel.

"Um. Hi." I forced a smile. "Can I help you?"

She flashed me a brilliant smile. "I was at the meet and greet."

"Right." She'd stood at the front of the line, her eyes on me the whole time. I'd barely even noticed. She was attractive, I couldn't deny that, but she wasn't Rubie.

"I was wondering if you'd like to get a drink with me?" she asked. "Maybe at my place?" She dipped her chest towards me.

How did her breasts stay inside her dress?

I forced my eyes up to her face. "Um. Thank you?—"

"Madisin," she replied, emphasising the second syllable.

I repeated her name. "I'm very flattered, but I really have to say no."

Before I could say any more, she plopped herself down on my lap and started to grind her rear against my groin.

I looked over at the guys with wide eyes.

Hawk was shaking his head. Chase and Bam were cracking up with laughter.

I wanted to flip them the bird, but I managed to roll my eyes.

I placed my hands on her shoulders to push off. "I really can't?—"

She grabbed one of my hands and shoved it straight down the front of her dress.

I let out a squeak and stood up so fast she tumbled off my lap and onto the floor. My wrist got caught on the strap of her dress, and it ripped. The front of her dress fell, revealing one breast to the entire room.

She cried out, grabbed the fabric of her dress and pulled it up over her chest. At the same time, she stood and bolted for the door.

All three of the guys almost fell out of their chairs laughing.

I shook my head at them. "You all suck," I said darkly.

Between gales of laughter, Bam said, "You could have gotten sucked."

Yes, I probably could have, but not by the person I want to be sucked by.

I flopped back down in my chair and covered my face with my hands. If Rubie saw that display, she 'd definitely never talk to me again.

Chase patted me on the back. "Just another day in the life of God's Gift."

"Fuck off," I told him.

"What in the world did you do?" Grace asked, pushing her way through the crowds. Bec and Ashley were close behind. "Some girl just ran through the party, crying and saying something about you ripping her dress."

I looked at her in horror. "That was not what happened!" I hesitated. "Well it was, but not."
