All of us were content and in love.

My head was tugged back by my hair and Corbin growled, “What’s this?” When he swiped at my cheek, I realized tears had fallen.

Grinning, I scooted onto his lap and hugged him tightly. “I’m just happy that we’re all happy.”

Corbin grunted, tightening his hold around my waist. “Okay then.”

Kissing his neck, I went to slip off his legs, but he held me in place and pulled my plate close. I didn’t mind staying right where I was. Even when Nox gagged and complained about how sickly cute we were. And Deacon rolled his eyes and shook his head. But I could tell they didn’t really care because they were as lost as I was in our mates.

We truly were blessed with our fated mates, and we would do anything to protect what we treasured above anything. The ones who helped calm our hunger for blood and need to hunt.

But most of all, we would protect the ones who loved us and our animals unconditionally.
