But was I okay? Who the fuck knew? Nothing had happened. No one was hurt.

So why did it feel like nothing was okay? Why did it feel like some kind of warning?

Chapter 102

Genevieve

Declan in true Declan fashion followed us all the way home to make sure we were safe—something about motorcycle accidents at night. Thank goodness because driving home in the dark was much less freeing than doing so in the daytime. Killian, on the other hand, was undeterred. He drove comfortably relaxed while I snuggled against his back, and his palm drifted over my thigh at every stop.

“Did you hate it?” Killian asked into the dark as he walked the motorcycle into the garage.

“At night a little,” I whispered honestly. “It was nice in the daylight.”

“I’ll take you out more in the spring,” he said. “Washington is gorgeous on a bike. I think you’ll love it. Where the fuck do you think you’re going?”

The change in his tone stopped me as I stepped away from the motorcycle.

“Inside…”

“Did I say you could go inside?”

“No,” I replied.

“No… what?” Just the question sent a shiver of anticipation down my spine. “We’re alone, Genevieve. Let me hear you say it.”

“No, Sir.”

“Come here.” He held out a hand to me, and I took it without hesitation, letting him guide me close. Killian’s arm locked around my waist. With more finesse than should’ve been possible, he pulled me onto the motorcycle with him. My legs hugged his hips tight, and my nose bumped against his. Tobacco, leather, and vanilla swirled together in an intoxicating mix that I intentionally inhaled deeply.

My heart hammered in my chest, and my body hummed from the closeness. His hand brushed along my neck, sending shivers down my spine. I curled my fingers into his shirt as I clung to him. He sought out the hidden leather hoop in the back and turned it around. With one sharp yank of my collar, he dragged my mouth to his and ate up the loud moan that spilled out of me. Teeth scraped against my lower lip, and his tongue met mine in a heated dance.

The demand of his kiss left me panting, but the way his fingers curled tight around my throat left me unable to catch my breath. My body came alive as the temperature in the chilly garage turned molten. I shut my eyes, falling into the euphoria.

“I fucking love you like this,” he said, his voice floating in and out of my ears. “Ready and willing to do whatever the hell I want.”

The rough pads of his fingers danced over my skin. My core clenched as my pussy throbbed, desperate to continue where we’d left off before. That hand around my neck let go just as darkness pulsed in the corners of my eyes. I leaned back against his motorcycle, drawing in quick breaths. The rush was intense and dizzying in the best way.

“Arms up, baby girl,” Killian ordered as he pushed up my sweater. I did as he asked before it truly registered what he wanted me to do.

My eyes darted to the open garage door while he tossed my sweater aside. It was dark, both inside the garage and out. Logically, no one could see us, but my heart kicked up in my chest anxiously.

“It’s okay, Genevieve,” he told me. “There’s no way in hell I’d put you in a situation where anyone could see your perfect fucking body unless you wanted them to, do you understand?”

“Yes, Sir,” I whispered. He slid a finger through the loop on my collar and gently laid me back on the motorcycle. Leaning forward, his lips drifted along my sternum.

“Fuck, you are a gorgeous sight, princess,” he murmured against my skin. The warmth of his tongue was a pleasant contrast to the chill of the weather. His teeth sank into the swell of my breast, biting down and eliciting a gasp out of me. I arched upward into him, needing more.

“Oh,” I managed to breathe out as he bit harder. The cold vanished as his teeth set me on fire with every bite he dug into my skin. I tried to hold back the moans he ripped from my body, but there was no use. I was a writhing mess as pain blended seamlessly with pleasure, and the ache between my thighs was too much to deny. His hands pinned my hips down to keep me from seeking out the friction I desperately craved.

Through the lace of my bra, he teased my nipple piercing with his tongue and his teeth. His name fell off my lips on repeat, begging for more, but he was unrelenting in the most delicious of ways as he switched sides. The whole world swayed, and my heart pounded rapidly in my ears.

The man knew exactly how to work my body into a frenzy.

When he stopped, the absence of his hands and mouth left me reeling.

“Eyes on me, princess,” Killian said softly. He waited patiently as I regained my bearings enough to lift my head and maintain eye contact. “That’s my gorgeous girl. Now, you’re going inside just like that. Once inside, I want you to go upstairs and get undressed. Kneel in front of the chair, ass on your heels, palms on your thighs, eyes on the floor. Don’t move even the slightest bit. Don’t say a fucking word unless I ask you a question. I want you to wait for me like that. I’ll be up there at some point.”

I hated being patient, and he knew that.
