When I do I have this sudden vision pop into my head…

All I can see…

Is Jax’s tongue between my legs, making me come harder than I ever have in my entire life.

JAX

I lean against the corner railing on the third-floor balcony with a now warm beer in my hand. It’s not like me to not down a beer when it’s in my hand. Of course I know what’s really going on here - I just try to play it off.

The balcony door opens and out steps two girls.

Hip hugging jeans, shirts that are missing the bottom half, one blonde hair, one brown hair, both with blue eyes that are fuzzy from the beer they’ve been drinking.

They see me. They smile.

“There you are,” one of them says. “We’ve been looking for you.”

“I’m sort of hiding right now.”

“Too much attention in there?” the other asks.

I grin and nod.

The cut on my face and the stitches are like flies to honey for some reason.

Everyone wants the story.

But these college girls… goddamn… they want me in a way I’ve never experienced before.

Maybe I’m just giving out some kind of vibe.

I’m tired. I’m miserable. I’m always in a bad mood anymore. And now I’ve got stitches.

A sexy wound from playing hockey…

“I’m Meghan,” the blonde says. “This is my best friend, Aria.”

“Do you want to hear the story of how I got stitches?”

They both shake their heads.

“We were there,” Aria says. “At the game. We saw it.”

“It looked awful what happened,” Meghan says.

“I deserved it,” I say. “Don’t tell anyone I said that.”

“Nobody deserves that,” Meghan says.

“Believe me, I did,” I say. “I was an asshole for that entire game. It’s all part of it though.”

“Hey, I’ll make you a deal,” Aria says. “If you throw your beer bottle and hit the balcony across the street… I’ll kiss Meghan.”

I smile. “Oh?”

Meghan moves closer to me. “Even if you miss, she can still kiss me. As long as you watch.”
