A chuckle escaped from Nathan. “Sometimes life interferes in your plans, and later you realize how thankful you are that the universe looked out for you.”

She nodded. “I’ve escaped marriage once as well. But it was with another lawyer.”

The fireworks began, and watching them, he felt a shudder go through Lillian. “I thought you liked fireworks?”

“I do; it’s just I’m getting cold.” Both of them began to remove their suit coats. Nathan was the quickest, and Cal watched as he draped his jacket over her.

“I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve had enough wedding bliss to last me until the next couple that ties the knot.”

“What would you think of following us back to the ranch so we could have a nightcap?” Cal said thinking he had done all the peopling he wanted to do for one night. And he wanted Lillian to go home with them.

Lillian bit her bottom lip, and he wanted to suck it into his mouth.

“Two men, one woman. Are you guys going to play nice?”

Nathan chuckled. “Lil, we’ll play nice, all right. It will be so nice that when you leave, you’re going to want to come back for more.”

Cal didn’t respond verbally. Instead, he pulled her into his arms and layered his mouth over hers. It was a deep kiss. One that seemed to go on forever, yet he wasn’t ready for it to end. If he had his way, he would take it to the next level, and the next, until she was beneath him in his bed.

When they came apart, she opened her eyes and stared at him.

“Hmm, let me think on this,” she said. “Will you show me the Blessing way?”

Nathan let out a groan. “Darling, we can show you a hell of a good time, but you’re not ready for the Blessing way. That takes time.”

She turned and laid her hand on his chest. “I’m here two weeks. How long will it take?”

Cal turned her to him and pulled her in tight. “You need to know what you’re getting yourself into. Do you know anything about the Blessing way?”

“Yes, I had two grandfathers,” she said.

He’d forgotten she mentioned that.

“Did they tell you how we like our women?”

“No,” she said, her breathing heavy. “All I know is that I want to learn.”

Cal exchanged a look across the way with Nathan.

“If you want to learn, then you shall,” he said. “But that means we’re all going to the ranch. I think we’ll miss the bouquet toss.”

She chuckled. “I’m sure as hell not going to catch it. I don’t want that thing anywhere near me.”

If the woman wasn’t interested in marriage, why did Nathan think this was such a great idea? The man was actively searching for a wife. Cal wanted nothing to do with his search except occasionally taking a woman for a test drive. So far, they were all failures. And he was sure that Lillian would be a failure because the woman knew nothing about the way the men in Blessing liked their women—nothing except that they wanted two men for every woman.

If she wanted sex, he could give her that all day long, but his heart was stuck in the past, and he wasn’t ready to unlock the vault he’d hidden it in.

The fireworks ended, and they took her by the arms.

“Are you certain about this?” Cal asked, needing to hear her say the words.

“Yes,” she replied. “I want both of you together to fuck me. Is that what you want to hear me say?”

A grin spread across his face, and he leaned down and kissed her upturned nose. “Your wish is our command. We can’t wait to spread you out on the bed and lick you like a delicious lollipop. Up one side and down the other.”

A smile spread across her face. “You do have condoms?”

“Oh yes,” he promised. “No worries there.”
