She smirks. “I was thinking we should stick with another L name.”

“That’s part of having a family, Enzo. When you’re happy and have kids, you do cheesy stuff.”
“Oh, is that a fact?”
“Yep.” She nods, smiling so big. I pull her on top of me and wrap her in my arms. This woman is absolutely the best thing that has ever happened to me. Without her, I’d have nothing.
There’s nothing like being a father, and she gave that to me. And I get it now. I get why my father pushed my brothers and me to do this. I’m certain it wasn’t just for the family business, but it was for us. Because there is nothing more fulfilling than having a family to love unconditionally. I only wish he could be here to see it.
