Moments like this one, with my family all around me. With laughter ringing out through the trees and the sweet scent of chocolate and marshmallows mingling with the wood smoke. With Harper by my side, her hand in mine and her love wrapped around my heart like a promise.

After the start I had in life, I thought I was incapable of giving or receiving love. Harper showed me differently. She saw the man I could be, the father and husband and friend.

And slowly, day by day, I started to heal. There are still times when the old fears and doubts creep in, when I question whether I'm good enough, whether I deserve this much happiness.

But then I look at Harper, at our kids. I see the love shining in their eyes, the trust and adoration. And I know I am enough. That I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.

That this beautiful, imperfectly perfect life is everything.

And I wouldn't trade a single second of it for anything in the world.
