Jacob lay a hand on her thigh and gently squeezed. “I think we might retire too. I want to get up early for a run and check out the real estate around here.”

His fingers burned into her skin.

Touch me.

Touch me more.

“You looking at buying?” Jackson asked.

He was the half brother that they’d mentioned earlier. Jackson was married to Kristen, Harper’s best friend.

“Thinking about it,” Jacob said. “I mean, look at this place. It’s fucking incredible.”

“To live or as a holiday home?” Kristen asked. “I could totally live here. I’m not sure I’ve ever adjusted to the Manhattan lifestyle.”

“You want to move?” Jackson asked, dipping his face to hers.

She shrugged. “I mean...maybe. Not away from Harp and Daniel, but—”

“We can move if you want. I can head into the city once or twice a week for business.” Jackson told her.

Wow, to have those choices—a.k.a. money—in life. This was such a different world to hers.

“Let’s think about it. Maybe when we start a family,” Kristen said a little shyly.

“I never want to leave after we’ve spent a few days here,” Olivia said, her arm wrapped around a sleeping Sammy, with Fletcher on the other side of the child. “Do I?”

“Pretty much have to carry her across the lawn onto the chopper.” Fletcher nodded. “Every time.”

“Why don’t you all just move out here?” Leilani asked, then pressed her lips together. “Sorry, I don’t really know. Just seems like you all love it.”

Addison nodded. “Leilani has a point. I need to keep Sienna in school, but if Sammy moved, then...”

“We’d move too,” Hunter said firmly.

“Technically, we’re not living together.” Addy shot him a knowing look.

“Technically, we are. When was the last time we spent a night apart? Sienna has a room in my fucking condo.” He cupped her face, kissing her lips.

“Propose already.” Olivia rolled her eyes.

Bella giggled across from her.

“One of us has to live in sin,” Blake piped up. “If it’s going to be anyone, it may as well be Hunter.”

Everyone began laughing, even Addison.

“I’ll take it.” Hunter smirked, and she wasn’t sure, but Leilani was almost certain he had a sparkle in his eye.

Jacob suddenly stood up and held out his hand. “We’re retiring. See you all tomorrow.”

That’s when she let go and her body began to burn.
