“And if you’re not careful you’ll get burned?” he asked with a wry grin. “What else is making you hesitate?”
“You’re seventeen years older than I am.”
“It just means you’ll be able to take advantage of all my experience.”
I raised a brow. “Did you just inadvertently mention your sexual history and put it in the plus column?”
“Yep.”
“Ballsy move. This has mess written all over it. We both know it.”
“Doesn’t have to be messy. If we hash out what this is going to look like, there’s no reason we can’t have some fun.”
“We need a few ground rules,” I said.
“Class is in session and the teacher is hot.”
I quirked a brow.
“Sorry.” He shot me a devastating grin. “I’m listening.”
“You have to leave before the bakery deliveries arrive. Jazz, Brielle, Brooklyn—none of them can know what we’re doing.”
He sighed. “Agreed.”
“Nothing in public. No heated looks that scream we’ve seen each other naked. No one can find out that we’re doing this. Especially not Tavy.”
“All right.”
“What about Bones?” I asked.
“What about him?”
“He’s made his interest known.”
“So, tell him it's not gonna happen.”
“You make it sound so easy.”
“It is easy. You want me, I want you. We hashed it out. Are we done talking?” he asked.
“I guess so.”
“Are you ready for me to fuck you?”
My breath caught in my throat and I nodded.
“Then get on all fours and stick your ass in the air like a good girl.”

“This bed is too small,” Smoke mumbled into the pillow.
“The room doesn’t really allow for a bigger bed,” I pointed out. I grazed my lips across his shoulder blade and then got up.
“Where are you going?” he demanded.
