“We spent the night in jail for public urination combined with yelling at a cop,” Tavy bragged. “And then Logan puked on his shoes.”

“Amateurs,” Kelp joked.

“Well, what did you guys do?” Tavy demanded.

“You’re not to tell her anything,” Smoke interjected from the doorway. He carted in both my suitcases and set them down out of the walkway so no one would bump into them.

“Oh, come on,” Tavy whined. “I want to know. I told them what Logan and I did.”

“Rule number one,” Smoke said. “You don’t talk about Fight Club.”

“You mean we’re not supposed to talk about why we were in the pokey?” Tavy asked.

“You were hardly in the pokey.” Smoke smirked. “A few hours, max.”

“I’m gonna start telling people I shot a man in Reno,” Tavy grumbled.

“Please don’t,” I said after I polished off the last of the taco. “I’d like to leave my life of crime behind. Okay?”

“You three come help me unhitch Tavy’s car,” Smoke commanded.

“Sure, boss. Right away, boss.” Bones rose, looked at me and winked before following Smoke out the door.

Raze and Kelp trailed after them.

When they were far enough away that I thought they were out of ear shot, I said to Tavy, “Okay. Which one?”

“Which one what?” Tavy asked, widening her eyes.

“Which one do you want to sleep with?”

“How did you know?” she grumbled. “I thought I was being discreet.”

“You were—by flirting with all of them.” I grinned.

“Gotta keep ‘em on their toes.”

“So that means…”

“They’re all in the running.” She shrugged. “But I doubt any of them will touch me.”

“Why not?”

“Raze told me about the rules.”

“What rules?”

“Club rules. Brothers can’t put the moves on other brothers’ family. No daughters, no sisters. That kind of thing. It’s about respect. But I’d love to be disrespected by any of those three. They’re hot.”

“They are all pretty attractive,” I agreed. “You’re really not leaning toward any one of them?”

“Too soon to tell yet.” She flashed a grin. “This is gonna be fun.”

I laughed. “You have more hormones than sense.”

“I’m young. I’m single. I’m itchy.”

I blinked. “You should see a doctor about that.”
