“You’re going to get me in trouble, J.” She holds her hand for me to place the test in.
“No, I won’t. I have plenty of reasons to explain why I’m always the last one out of your class. Trust me.” I lean closer to her, caressing her cheek.
“Blaire.” My lips graze hers, and she pushes me back.
“Jaden,” she scolds me and wiggles her index finger at me.
“Not here. Please. We can’t get caught.”
I hang my head and softly say, “Sorry. You’re so sexy and irresistible.” I shove my hands into my pants pockets.
“I know how hard this is, but we can do this. It’s only nine months. And we have winter and spring breaks to sneak away on. We’ll make it work.” She touches my bicep and squeezes. I look at her again. Her blue eyes soften.
I nod.
“Okay. I’ll behave. But… only for now.” I smile mischievously, then check my watch.
“I need to go. My next class is in five minutes.”
“Go. Please don’t be late. I’ll text you tonight.” She walks behind her desk and sits in the chair. Before I leave, I see her open the laptop and grab a pen. She looks my way again and shoos me out the door with a wiggle of her fingers.

At the end of the week, and while Britney is still with Preston, I text Rae and ask if she’s free for dinner. I need a bestie evening.
She replies:
Sure. Let’s go to The Oasis. ??
I’ve not told her about seeing Jaden on the down low. Maybe it’s time I tell her, or she’ll eventually drag it out of me and be upset I hadn’t clued her in.
I’ll pick you up at six.
I pack up my laptop and toss the student’s folders lying on my desk into my bag. Walking out to my car, I stop when I see Jaden leaning against it. My eyes widen and I shake my head slowly as I walk toward him.
He meets me halfway and says, “Don’t be mad. I just wanted to see you before I have to get back to The Oasis for my shift.” He reaches for my hand, but I grab my purse instead.
“We can’t do this here.” I begin to walk toward my car with Jaden walking with me. I whisper, “Baby, please. I want to touch you as much as you want to touch me, but we have to control ourselves while on campus.”
I open the backdoor of my car, tossing my bag inside. Closing the door, I spin and face him. I place my hand on his chest and sigh. I feel his firm body and my clit pulsates.
“Rae and I are going to The Oasis for dinner. I’ll see you there, okay?” I press my fingers into his pecs as he leans into my hand.
He sighs heavily.
“Okay. I can’t wait to see you there.” He drags his hand along my arm, sending electric pulses to my core. He turns and walks away from me.
I stare after him. He’s perfect and I can’t wait for graduation.
I slide into my car and drive to Rae’s house with the AC on full blast.
We sit at the bar at The Oasis. The Friday night crowd fills the dining room, and the bar is packed with people waiting for drinks.
“What’ll it be, ladies?”
I smile when I recognize Dave, the bartender that served us that first night I met Jaden.
