“You need to get over here and let me show you how much I missed you.”

Hannah smiled seductively and pulled her simple black and white skater dress over her head. “Before I do that, I think there’s something I should tell you.”

“You have more secrets you’ve been keeping? Didn’t we make a vow to stop playing games?”

“You like playing games, sometimes.”

His hazel eyes darkened, and she unsnapped her bra, sliding it down her arms.

“Woman, I haven’t seen you for ten days, and you are trying my patience.”

Fingering the necklace around her neck, she slowly walked toward the bed, rolling her hips with every move. She climbed up the bed until she hovered over him and said, “You’re going to have to get me another one of these.”

Hannah held up the tiny white-gold peanut, a joke gift when she’d been pregnant with Maggie. After Hannah had told him that the baby was the size of a peanut, he’d come home with the custom legume, and to his surprise, it was actually her favorite piece of jewelry, besides her wedding set.

Blake’s jaw dropped, and her smiled widened.

“No. Really?”

“Yep. Seven weeks tomorrow.”

Blake pulled her under him and kissed her long and lingeringly, curling her toes with every stroke of his tongue. They’d decided two months ago that Maggie needed a sibling, and Hannah had stopped taking her pill.

From the doctor’s calculations, they’d hit pay dirt the first try.

Blake finally pulled up with a laugh, that deep throaty chuckle that made her want to purr.

“If I’m not careful with you, I’m going to end up with a dozen kids, Fertile Myrtle.”

“Not my fault you have bionic sperm,” she quipped.

Blake kissed her again playfully, and when they broke apart, she whispered, “Are you happy?”

“Every day that I’m with you.”

Who could ask for more?

“Then come down here and kiss me again.”

“Anything for you.”
