“Good little girl,” he hums, pinching one of my nipples as he pulls me onto his lap. “You’ve coated my face.”

God, I can’t take the way he’s rolling my nipple between his fingers. Pure fucking torture—it almost feels like too much.

“I’m going to fuck you now, so you can coat my cock too.”

Positioning himself at my entrance he fills me slowly. I fail to catch my breath because that intensely caring look he has in his eyes as he strokes my hair from my face is making me feel giddier and hotter than my orgasm.

“You’re so incredibly beautiful, Cass. I don’t know how the fuck you’re real.” He breathes into my mouth, his eyes flitting between mine like he’s overwhelmed. Like he’s won some prize he never saw coming.

I don’t understand it.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” My words are garbled by his soft, pulsing thrusts.

With a gentle caress, he pushes one side of my dress over my shoulder, taking the strap of my bra with it he presses a kiss to my shoulder, and all I want is for him to mark me again.

Tilting me back he leans over me, his lips graze my nipple as he kisses his way up to my throat, when he gets to the small swell of my boob, he sucks my flesh into his mouth and bites at the same time. He does this again and again until my skin is burning. Until I’m clenching around him so tight that it hurts.

Looking up at me, a soft, wet smile curls his lips. And following his line of sight, my entire being heats as I take in the small red, purpling marks he’s left on my breast, and it makes me feel all sorts of right and whole.

I like having proof that he’s touched me, that he’s loved me. Leo is something so beyond me that half of the time I can’t believe he’s here with me.

Searching my face, his small quirk of a smile straightens as he pulls me flush to his chest. My breath pushes out of me as he sinks so deep all I feel is him.

“I’m looking at you like glue.” He murmurs. “I’m going to stick to you for life. Forever, Buttercup.”

Forever.

“Forever,” I repeat. “And ever.”

“And ever.”

He thrusts deep as his lips crush mine and he doesn’t stop kissing me until we’re both chasing our release. Until the air around us is so hot and thick that all we can do is look at one another as sweat coats our skin and our limbs tremble.

When we are sated and his arms are wrapped around me as I feel his heart beat beneath my hands, he whispers, “I love you, Little Queen.”

“I love you, Neat Freak.” I mumble into his chest and the rumble of his soft laugh makes me smile.

Chapter 33

Leo

Pouring me another finger of vodka, Christopher flips over the newspapers stacked on the coffee table. “You need to chill. Everything is going according to plan.”

“Easier said than done.”

He sits on the other end of the sofa; the lounge is so big that the extra-long seat allows for him to put his feet up without coming anywhere near me. “Honestly, if you look a worried mess, the press are going to eat you alive tonight.”

“Maybe we shouldn’t go.” That thought’s been plaguing me all day. I can’t trust that nothing will go wrong, and I’ve only just got Cassie back… the last week has been havoc with the press constantly outside my apartment or the house. They’re everywhere. My saving grace has been having Cassie with me.

“You need to. Nothing will convince people of your innocence more, than showing your face to a charity gala and donating a healthy cheque. And Cassie is right, with her next to you, people will only want to know about the two of you rather than what the press has been saying for the last week. Not to mention you have the Deputy Prime Minister’s daughter close by.” Shrugging he throws back what’s left of his drink. “You’d be stupid not to attend.”

He’s right. Of course, he is. This is everything he’s been prepared for. This whole life of charming smiles and held back words. It’s everything I hate about the circles we run in and have done everything to avoid.

“No one’s going to give a fuck about you when Cassie steps out of the car. You learn really quickly to smile and zone out. Hold their hand, help with their dress and make sure you don’t let them fall. That’s the only thing you need to be thinking about.”

Slugging back my own drink, I savour the smooth burn as it trickles down my throat to my stomach. Taking a couple of deep breaths, I try to steady the tightness in my chest.

“Arabella says you’ve closed on the townhouse down the road?” I try and make some sort of small talk with him to take my mind off what’s about to happen.
