“Yeah? What’s it?”

“All of the girls will have a day off this week. Probably on Friday,” she answered.

“That’s great! All girls?” I said.

“Yeah. We should plan an event.” Harley offered.

“What about a girls’ night at my place?” I suggested. I thought this could be a good way to know them better and maybe to try to learn some information.

“Your place? Okay. I’m in.” Harley jumped from the vanity unit she was sitting.

“Count me in, too.” Salem said.

I turned my head to Sage but she didn’t say anything.

“Sage?” I asked and she frowned.

“What? You want me to come, too?” she asked.

“Of course I want you to come. I want all of us to hang out together.”

She checked her nails with a lady like attitude and nodded.

“Okay, then. You should give us the address, I’ll be there.”

“Great. Where is K?” I asked.

“Helping Pax with drinks. I’ll tell her about our plan.” Salem said.

“Okay…The plan is on now, you should get ready Violet.” Harley said.

“Yes, ma’am,” I winked and tried to find an outfit.

Show passed by without any complication. After the practice with Gary my muscles ached but I felt stronger. Maybe it was just a placebo effect on me. The crowd was wild with whistles and applause. But my mind was on the twins and Fabien. I hoped Fabien would find something in the end.

When I got into the dressing room, Harley barged in.

“Oh, thank God you’re here Violet! We need help for serving drinks again. Fucking Will should hire someone to help,” she said in a panicked tone.

“Okay, okay. Keep calm. I’ll be there in five just let me change my t-shirt,” I said and she got out hurriedly.

I quickly changed into another t-shirt and headed to the bar.

“Harley, where do you need me?” I asked to her when I saw she was running from a place to another.

“Take VIP again. I can handle here,” she called out while serving drinks to the table.

“Okay,” I lifted my thumb up and went to the bar.

“Channing, VIP is on me. What are the orders?” I asked him loudly to be heard over the music.

“Hey, Violet! This is for the first booth. I’ll make orders of the fifth ready for when you come back,” he said and gave me the tray.

I climbed the stairs to reach the first booth but my mind was busy. There were five people in the booth but they were in the deep conversation so I served the drinks and left the booth as fast as I could.

Before I went down to the bar, I saw Sage on the stage. She was doing her second show. I hadn’t watched her dance before but she looked so intense. Her movements, her face and the music were deep and heart aching. I didn’t know if that was possible but I felt her pa

in while watching her. Everyone was silent, watching her in awe—all the focus was on her.
