He pressed his body into me. My shoulder blades grazed by the rough surface of the wall. His tongue penetrated into my mouth in a domineering way—making me forget everything but the taste of him.

“Whoa! What was that for?” I gasped.

“What does HT mean?” he whispered harshly.

“Short for Heart Throb,” I shrugged.

“What the fuck does that mean?”

“You make my heart beat faster, it feels like throbbing.” My voice got quieter as I explained him his nickname.

“Hmm, I like that but I would prefer to make you throb somewhere else as well,” he seductively said against my lips.

“Don’t worry, you make me throb everywhere,” I whispered back at him.

“Good. Now, go before I change my mind,” he said cold but husky voice.

“Yes, sir,” I said with a smirk and ran to get my purse.

When I left the room with my purse and my journal, Fabien was

leaving Xander’s study.

“I’ll check them out and see if I can find anything, Mr. Vincent.” Fabien said and shook hand with Xander.

“Dawn? Are you leaving already?” Alex asked behind me. I didn’t realize he was out of the studio.

“Hey, G-Man. Yep, I’m leaving. I’ll see you guys tomorrow night.”

“And he is G-Man, now? What is it with you and the nicknames today?” Xander asked grumpily.

“What? I thought you liked your nickname,” I pouted at him like a kid. I liked the nickname I gave him.

“I didn’t say otherwise.”

“Wait…what is G-Man?” Alex asked.

“Short for Gorgeous Man,” I shrugged and blew him a kiss.

“Oh, I thought it was about G-spot or something but okay…I can work with gorgeous.”

“God! Can’t you guys just accept your nicknames?!” I asked slightly annoyed but mostly amused.

“What’s Xander’s nickname?” Alex said and leaned against the wall next to us.

“HT, short for Heart Throb.” Xander answered and rolled his eyes.

“Wait! Why is he the Heart Throb?” Alex protested with a frown.

“Because I’m making her heart throb, bro. Nothing new.” Xander answered arrogantly.

“Fuck you, bro.” Alex snapped at Xander.

“Guys! You’re worse than whiny bitches, really,” I groaned in annoyance but that caused them to chuckle.

I gave them cute nicknames and they complained but I called them whiny bitches and they were laughing? Boys…

“Okay, I’m going,” I said and walk past them. I realized they were following me behind until I arrived to the car.
