“Jesus, Ford. Don’t tell me you’re in love with her.”

“I didn’t say that.”

I sigh, placing my hand on his shoulder. “I know things have been rough for you, I’m happy if you’ve found someone who—”

A loud beeping blares from my phone, thankfully interrupting the touchy-feely moment.

“What’s wrong? Our leading man cut his hair?”

“No. Worse. We’re all stuck on the mountain. A massive storm is rolling in, and they’ve closed the roads. No one goes in or out.”

“Outstanding.”

“Hey, at least you’ve got somewhere warm to stick your dick,” I scoff, wishing that I could say the same thing.

I need to find Andi and fast, or the only place anyone will find me is my death bed.

“I won’t tell you again to watch your fucking tone.”

I hold my hands up in surrender. “Sorry, man. I really can’t complain. I’ve got issues of my own to deal with.”

“I’ll stay out of yours if you stay out of mine,” Ford grumbles as he stands, not even bothering to ask about the schedule changes.

“Done. I’ll send out an updated schedule to everyone once I have everything figured out.”

I plop down in the seat he just vacated and get to work. Although we knew something like this would happen, I didn’t expect it to happen so soon.

Playtime is officially over.
