"Fuck yes. I want you to marry me as soon as possible." I sink down on my knee and hold the ring up to her. God, I didn’t think I would be so nervous but asking her and waiting for her to say yes is fucking nerve-wracking. How the hell do men do this?

I should slow down. Give her time to accept my love for her and find out that it is real and will never change. But we have this connection - this thing that reaches out and connects us, soul to soul. She would have never been with me if she hadn't felt it immediately too. She looks down at me and I wonder if she can see the look of nervousness I’m sure is all over my face. This is the most important moment of my life and it all hinges on what she says next.

"I...yes." The word tumbles out of her mouth on a shaky sob.

"Yeah?" A smile breaks out across my face. I know I’m grinning like an idiot and don’t even care.

She nods and before she can stop, I’m standing and scooping her up in my arms to twirl her around as I let out a loud whoop. Just as I swing her, the door springs open, and three of her sisters fall almost to the ground half in and half out of the door. All of them have shame faces to some degree or another. Charlie looks truly guilty while Willa and Payton, not so much.

Everyone gets to their feet as Teddy is still hanging in my arms. Then one of them lets out a squeal and rushes us.

"I want to see the ring."

"OMG, I'm finally going to get a big brother."

They hug both of us and everyone talks at once until finally, Payton gets our attention. "I want you to get married with me."

"Did you just say you want me to get married with you?" Teddy asks with a shaky voice as she looks at her younger sister. Payton nods with a big, happy smile on her face and tears in her eyes too. "Sunday?"

"Please, please, please."

Who knew having sisters around could be so fucking helpful because I am all on board with this idea Payton has. I just hope she can talk my girl into it.
