Kyra sighed, “I want it all gone. Like not shaved gone, but close. Super short. And blue. I want it electric blue for the show.”
She got more excited and animated as she talked about what she wanted and even though Brock couldn’t imagine her without her beautiful hair, he loved the reasons behind the drastic change. It was her body, and she should do what she wanted to with it. Plus, it was just hair. Hair would grow.
“That sounds a-mazing!” Sadie clapped her hands. “Let’s go see if she has time to do it now.”
Sadie stood and Brock cleared his throat. “Let’s finish lunch and then we can see if she has time,” he corrected.
Sadie smiled slyly and sat back down. “Yes, sir, Mr. Brock.”
He squinted his eyes at her, trying to figure out what the look was for, but he didn’t really care as long as Kyra was given time to finish eating.
“You really think Jackie won’t be upset?”
“I promise.” Sadie made an “X” over her heart with her finger.
It was enough to calm Kyra for the time being, and she started eating again. Brock sat down to finish his own lunch and once they were all done and the plates were set out for room service to collect, they headed to the lobby to see about that haircut and apparently, color, too.
